Consouling Sounds’ subsidiary 9000 Records is proud to announce, in conjunction with Zeal Records, the release of the third full-length album from Belgian psychedelic synth post-punk group KISS THE ANUS OF A BLACK CAT.
Titled “To Live Vicariously”, the band’s new record was produced by Koen Gisen at La Patrie studios and is scheduled for release on October 5th on vinyl (9000 Records) and cd (Zeal Records).
Stef Heeren, the man behind the ever changing constellation of Kiss The Anus Of A Black Cat is constantly evolving and exploring the fringes of the avant-garde musical fabric. His work started out as a dark neo-folkish project, but under the supervision of producer Koen Gisen, Heeren recorded his previous album ‘Weltuntergangsstimmung’ and the upcoming album ‘To Live Vicariously” at Koen’s studio ‘La Patrie’ using an abundance of analogue synths. Earlier albums may have been inspired by dark folk; for his new creative explorations the band is diving into more electronic synth sounds, exploring even further the amazing world of analogue synths.
