Cruise is an electronica duo based in Belgium. After two EP’s and some contributions to compilations, a first album is released in January 2008 on Divine Comedy Records. It is named I HEARD IT! and it includes 10 original tracks, 2 collaborations (with Jean-Luc De Meyer aka “the voice of FRONT 242” and Celine) and 5 remixes (C-Drik, Roswell conspiracy, Sulphuric Saliva, Celluloide, Communication Zero). The duo recorded more drone-atmospheric tunes. The first episodes of the TWO.LONE.SNOWMEN.SESSIONS were issued on Meka Productions in March 2009.
The second album, HOW’S ANNIE? features new dancefloor skuds, atmospheric tracks and great collaborations with Babylone Chaos, The Rorschach Garden, Oil 10 and the veterans : NO MORE!
In August 2012, the band announced their forthcoming album, "…Are Not What They Seem", which is due to be released in September 2012 on the Americal label Signifier. The album will include 8 new tracks, among which a collaboration with Belgian EBM legend Dirk Ivens (Dive, Sonar, Klinik, Absolute Body Control…) and a track featuring Sigma, the former (female) singer of Komplex.
The band describes the new album as "more electronica and drone-ambient" than the 2 previous albums. You can listen to one of the tracks: "In the heart of a circle of 12 sycamores" here.
