TEXAS TRAUMA
Texas Trauma serves a blend of wild electronic "vintage" with heroic airy guitars. Well yes, computers are definitely excluded. Only remains the holy trilogy dear to the falterings beginnings of the electronic rock music in the eighties: machine drums /sequencer/analogic synthesiser. With loads of "midi" cables everywhere as a matter of fact.
The various influences on Texas Trauma are to be sought in bands such as : The Neon Judgement, A'Grumh, Fad Gadget, OMD (at his beginning), DAF... for the classical references. Covenant, Vitalic, Colder, White Lies,... for the trendies.
Are we speaking about past ? About nostalgy ? Of course not. Just about a timeless music, played with passion just like a bluesman would when only devoted to his art. Would you tell a bluesman that his music is out of time, I wonder ??????
