Why do some bands make it so difficult for us reviewers? They give us no information about what and who they are?
Well, there's no place for self-pity at all as this band from Chicago let you decide for yourself what you think of them by offering their latest mini-album as a download which can be purchased as a regular CD-release as well.
A term like psychedelic goth may suck, but for Fosdyk Well it suits them fine as their music reminds us of both Violent Femmes and something like say, Gene Loves Jezebel.
We do agree that such a description can scare the hell out of you but still these Americans managed to come up with seven songs that could hold our attention from the beginning to the end and that says a lot in 2011.
If they'll make it here, well it's up to you to decide, but we'll give them a shooting start by saying that they're worth your attention.
