FUNKERVOGT

For me it was really long time since I have seen them on stage, but always remembered them as a great live band with powerful vocals. It's great to get their newest cd via Out of Line.

Been playing this one the whole morning and simply let it play on repeat. I can say I loved the melodic sound and despite some lyrics and some point it felt like sing a long songs. They are almost all club minded and very well mixed. I'm more than happy that this Funkervogt is mine!

The German and the English songs work well, so it's clear that they can gain more fans, once again! Most of the lyrics are talking about the war, fighting, make a stand... just as we have always known them!

My highlights are: 'Mein Weg' (great sound, lyrics are almost sing a longs, love the beats), 'Six feet under', 'Kampf den Machinen', 'Kill on demand', 'Our life' (somehow a ballad, love the melancholy, the lyrics are pretty heavy and might be used at the end of a funeral and make us all cry), 'WOTW', 'The Firm', 'Revolution' (a nice mix between Front242 and Das Ich remixed by VNV nation), 'Brueder' (a last soft one, a very melancholic and sad one)... basically almost all the songs, I Know...

This is an absolute must have for the fans of this kind of powerful music, so just go ahead and buy it!
