The Hiram Key consists of Gary Clarke (ex-Nosferatu), Sean Flude (ex-Noah), Roi Robertson (on loan from his Mechanical Cabaret), and Belle Star (Nosferatu/Killing Miranda). With influences such as stated from their own website: Bowie, Placebo, The Cure, Bauhaus, the Psychedelic Furs, Gary Numan, and Joy Division,... From the first note this one makes me think about a The Cure minded band called The Essence. After some reading noticed Lol Tolhurst made a contribution on keyboards and wrote 'Karl's song'. Loved 'What kind of...' and 'Arzu in the Mirror'... and in fact the rest of the album, really great work and i'm glad this one reached me... I hope i can give you enough to try it out?
