VOX INSANA

Vox Insana is one of these bands that might stay underground for a while. I just finished my first non-edited review of their EP and I'm not impressed by their musical talent. You want to know why? Here it comes:

The first track 'Dark Side' is cold wave minded, with nice female vocals (sometimes it doesn't stay tuned and hurts my ears), slightly catchy and I feel a very cold vibe. It's nothing special as I heard a lot of similar tracks who sound much better. 'The Night' is driven by an angelic voice and falls under the cold EBM style. 'Color of Silence' starts with a piano & a synth that gives it a floating sound, it's a short one, expected more from it. 'I can feel you' is cold EBM lead by an angelic voice (but I heard better voices) and a retro sound. The tempo is a bit too low to conquer the dance floor. 'Lullaby' is cold wave with a nice drum machine & guitars. The voice sounds a bit more natural and that is good thing. The end with a remix of 'The Dark Side' and that is a good thing as this one is really dance floor orientated and of a good quality!

So, yes: if the next material is as good as the remix I might review it, otherwise it goes to my trash!
