We ran into David Fonseca (you'll find already 2 reviews on our site) and now it's time for The Godspeed Society, so it seems like we discovered some Portugese talents!

'Killing tale' is a bit special, some extravaganza even! Who would imagine to build some real powerplay musical? It's an adventure, for sure and there are 15 songs on here! They are mixing an accordeon, metal guitars, a powerful female voice (Nina Hagen at her top or Danni Klein from Vaya Con Dios), a jazzy versus a bluesy note, a nice sax...

The first song 'Dark River' has it all and that promisses a lot for the rest of the album, Blood city: here we come! Telling a bloody lovers tale and capturing us in their world.

'Jack' & 'Till death' remind me a bit of the 1984 project David Bowie planned in the 70's, Halloween Jack. I got hooked on the rest of the songs and the story kept me attracted until the very end. I didn't get the book that has come along, but the music is great enough to get my fantasy start working. I start to see the crime scene, the cops gathering info...

Would be nice to see this on a live DVD!

I regularly come across animal remains at various stages of decomposition. That started to affect me, and that's where the concept of the record was born.
