End Of The Trail
Ahead of the release of the Shit Robot album 'What Follows' on 6th May, DFA Records unveils the official video for the new single 'End of the Trail' featuring Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip. Following the track's worldwide release and a subsequent killer remix courtesy of Hamburg house maestro Roman Fluegel, End Of The Trail now receives a stunning visual accompaniment courtesy of a beautifully animated video by Irish director Kevin McGloughlin.
While the track finds Taylor once again lending with Marcus Lambkin's Shit Robot project his unique vocal & songwriting talents, the video renders his visage in a variety of artistic styles. The captivating effect provides as much of a lasting impression as the song itself, an undeniable earworm in the classic and most enthralling sense.
End Of The Trail is a taste of Lambkin's third Shit Robot LP for DFA, 'What , which arrives on May 6th 2016. In addition to two appearances by Taylor, other collaborators include DFA stalwarts Nancy Whang and Museum of Love, NYC punk vocalist Jay Greene and Juan Maclean on engineering duties.
