Without question Pankow has influenced the sound and feel of EBM industrial music. With often humorous and political vocals meshed with hard drums and minimal yet funky synth production Pankow not only defined their own sound, but also over and over again redefined that sound. After a forced break in 1993 they returned to the scene with a fresh new sound.
