Resident Evil-fans have to be patient

Milla Jovovich and Paul WS Anderson are about to embark on another project together. 

The star and the director of the Resident Evil franchise are expecting their second child, with Jovovich, 38, confirming the news on her Facebook page. Jovovich told that this joy will delay the couple's plans to move forward with upcoming sequel Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.

Milla's statement: "So after a lot of discussion, we thought it would be in everyone’s best interest to wait till the baby is born before we set out to try and tackle [a new Resident Evil] movie. Between the stunt work and what will become my ever-expanding belly, we didn’t think pregnancy and zombie killing are the best combo!

Work has already begun on the sequel but will now be held until the couple can begin filming it in South Africa in summer 2015.
