Na hun gigantisch succes met debuut ‘K’, volgestouwd met hits als ‘Tattva’ en ‘Govinda’, uit ’96 en wereldhit ‘Hush’ (het origineel is van Joe South, ook gecovered door Deep Purple) splitte de groep in ‘99.
Vijf jaar later trapte opper-Shaker Crispian Mills Kula Shaker terug op gang met albums ‘Strangefolk’ (’07) en ‘Pilgrims Progress’ (’10) als gevolg maar sinds enkele jaren bleef het wederom stil rond de band.
