MARK LANEGAN BAND

Announce 'A Thousand Miles Of Midnight', released 23rd February via Heavenly Recordings

UK Live Dates in January

Following career-best reviews and a Top 20 chart entry for ‘Phantom Radio’ back in October, MARK LANEGAN BAND have announced the release of A Thousand Miles Of Midnight, an album of remixes of tracks from ‘Phantom Radio’ and ‘No Bells On Sunday’, the EP that accompanied it. The album comprises a brilliant array of remixes by artists as diverse as UNKLE, Earth, Moon Gangs, Moby, Tom ‘Horrors’ Furse, Pye Corner Audio, Moby, Thomas Barfod, Mark Stewart, Greg Dulli and Soulsavers. The full tracklisting is listed below; stream the Moby remix of 'Torn Red Heart' here:

Mark Lanegan says of the album: “I thought these tunes would lend themselves to remixing and that it would be interesting to hear what other artists might make of them. All the people who did remixes are musicians whose work I greatly admire.”

Mark Lanegan Band will be touring the UK in January, beginning a week tomorrow in Glasgow and reaching London for a Shepherd's Bush Empire performance on the 28th:

  • Tuesday 20 January – GLASGOW - ABC
  • Wednesday 21 January – NEWCASTLE – Riverside
  • Thursday 22 January – LEEDS – Met University
  • Friday 23 January – MANCHESTER – Ritz
  • Monday 26 January – BIRMINGHAM – The Library
  • Tuesday 27 January – BRISTOL – O2 Academy
  • Wednesday 28 January – LONDON – Shepherd's Bush Empire
  • Thursday 29 January – PORTSMOUTH – Pyramids
