Their album (the seventeenth instalment of our tape series, released on CD as 'Headache') has received across-the-board acclaim from most of the major music commentary outlets (The Quietus, Louder Than War, Tiny Mix Tapes, etc) and has struck several kinds of minor chords with the psychedelia/garage/shoegaze/krautrock experts across a throng of niche blogs and websites.
To remind you how great this album really is, the label commissioned noise musician and artist Jason Williams (Hysteresis, Mothers of The Third Reich, Aeliopile, etc) to produce a video for the swirling, bad-tempered 10-minute title track from the album.
Edited from rescued footage the filmmaker found of a childhood horror film he attempted with some friends, the barely-legible super 8 - all choked up with damage to the negative - forms a narrative with the previous video for Headache's opener, Snow.
The film stutters and bleeds, occasionally lapsing into acid-trip flashbacks, while the music of Headache glides gracefully forever over the fucked-up visuals - a fatalist mantra.
