SYNOPSIS
Een donkere schaduw van geheimen en moord hangt over Absaroka County, Wyoming, het district van de ruige en geharde sheriff Walt Longmire.
De stoïcijnse sheriff (Robert Taylor) en zijn dochter Cady (Cassidy Freeman) hebben hun bedenkingen bij de manier waarop de vrouw van Walt is gestorven, maar de waarheid zal hen beide versteld doen staan. Het onderzoek naar Walts mogelijke betrokkenheid bij de dood van de moordenaar van zijn vrouw dreigt bovendien zijn trouwe vriend Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips) in gevaar te brengen.
