Frontiers Records will release the new album of Whitesnake in May. This album contains Deep Purple songs with a touch of Whitesnake. It 's gonna be a sort of a tribute to the band where David Coverdale started his carriere. The album will contains inter alia following songs: Burn, Stormbringer, Lady Double Dealer, Sail Away and Soldier of Fortune.
In the autumn they will do a tour through Europe. The band has also announced that they have a new member: Keyboardist/singer Michelle Luppi (Secret Sphere, ex-Vision Divine).
Frontiers Records zal het nieuwe album van Whitesnake 'The Purple Album' uitbrengen in mei. Het album zal Deep Purple nummers bevatten die heropgenomen werden en Whitesnake elementen zal bevatten. Het zal, volgens David Coverdale, een soort eerbetoon zijn tot de band waar het voor hem allemaal jaren geleden mee begon. Onder andere volgende songs zullen op het album komen te staan: Burn, Stormbringer, Lady Double Dealer, Sail Away en Soldier of Fortune.
In het najaar zullen ze toeren door Europa. De band kondigde ook een nieuw bandlid aan: Keyboardspeler/zanger Michelle Luppi ( Secret Sphere, ex-Vision Divine).
