The Mary Hart Attack is in deep mourning. On April 23, 2016, we found out that our rehearsal room was robbed. Eighty percent of our instruments and gear were stolen. An extension of our body has been taken from us. The police was informed, and now you too.
DIY to DIWYS
As a band we stick to the DIY-philosophy (Do It Yourself). But sometimes DIY isn’t enough. Now we count on you! Given the situation we are now as a DIWYS-band (Do It With Your Support).
The probability that we find our material is small. We have to get over it. How painful it might be. We are in a very bad financial situation at the moment. The deficit runs up to around 12.000 euro. We are talking about a professional drumkit, very good cymbals, terrific amps, unique pedals …
We need money. It is as simple as that. Every contribution is important to us. 5 or 500 euros? You see what you can do. We didn’t have an insurance. We didn’t expect something like this would happen. We are licking our wounds right now. You can support us financially. Above you can enter a free gift. Below you can support us while we make you happy with perks. Check them out!
We plan a benefit gig. We are looking for a convenient moment and venue! We hope somewhere in June.

100 euro: shoutout on facebook, plus you choose two names to be mentioned on the sleeve of our full album: ‘with support and help from …’. You also get two entry tickets to the benefit gig, plus two physical version of our full album (cd) signed by the whole band.
130 euro: shoutout on facebook, plus entry for 5 persons to the benefit gig, plus 5 physical versions of our full album (cd) signed by the whole band.
250 euro: shoutout on facebook, plus entry for 10 person to the benefit gig, plus 10 physical versions of our full album (cd) signed by the whole band.
500 euro: shoutout on facebook, plus a concert of The Mary Hart Attack on a location of you choice (within a circle of 50 km around Ghent, everything beyond that is possible for if 0.35 cent/km). You take care of a good PA. Plus entry for 5 persons to the benefit gig, plus 5 physical versions of our full album (cd) signed by the whole band.
750 euro: shoutout op facebook, plus a statement as ‘co producer’ on the sleeve of the cd and vinyl of our full album. You also get an entry for 10 persons to the benefit gig, plus 10 physical versions of our full album (cd) signed by the whole band.
More than 750 euro: go back to the top of this page! Same rules as with 750 euro, but the more you give, the more prominent you will be on the sleeve!

The Mary Hart Attack is in diepe rouw. Op 23 april 2016 stelden we vast dat ons repetitiekot leeggeroofd werd. Tachtig procent van onze instrumenten en gear zijn gestolen. Het verlengde van ons lijf is van ons weggerukt. De politie is op de hoogte. Jullie nu ook.

Van DIY naar DIWYS
Als band zijn we trouw aan DIY-filosofie (Do It Yourself). De voorbije maanden stopten we veel tijd in ons eerste full album. Hier gaan we gewoon mee door.
Maar soms is DIY niet genoeg. Nu rekenen we ook op jullie! Gezien de situatie worden we even een DIWYS band (Do It With Your Support). Je kan het volgende doen:
1) Dit nieuws forwarden naar al jouw vrienden.
2) We hopen om het materiaal terug te vinden. Maar we zijn realistisch.
Concreet betekent dit dat we er financieel belabberd voor staan. We draaien niet rond de pot. We hebben centen nodig. Elke bijdrage is voor ons belangrijk. 5 of 500 euro? Je ziet maar wat je kan doen. Ga naar de crowdfunding pagina en steun ons. Je krijgt iets in ruil!
