UK techno industrial outfit EMPIRION have just signed a recording deal with Dependent for their forthcoming album.
Oz Mosley and Jamie Smart, who made waves with their high-octane fusion of techno and industrial music in the mid-90s on XL Recordings, have resurrected their project (Morsley had been involved with KLOQ for the last few years) and are putting the finishing touches on their comeback right now.
The band: "It has been a long journey to get the new album done and we cannot think of any better label to help us. We will be amongst some amazing bands there and are so looking forward to bring our new material to old and new fans alike!"
UK legacy industrial festival Infest have also just announced a headline slot for Empirion to coincide with the album release in August this year.

Oz Mosley en Jamie Smart, die in het midden van de jaren negentig stof deden opwaaien door hun mix met een hoog octaangehalte van techno en industrial op XL Recordings, hebben hun project weer tot leven gewekt (Morsley was de afgelopen jaren betrokken bij KLOQ). Ze leggen momenteel de laatste hand aan hun comeback.
De band: "Het is een lange reis geweest om het nieuwe album af te krijgen, en we kunnen ons geen beter label voorstellen om ons te helpen. We zullen een van geweldige bands op dat label zijn en kijken ernaar uit om ons nieuwe materiaal voor te stellen aan oude en nieuwe fans! "
Het UK legacy industrial festival Infest heeft ook net een headline slot voor Empirion aangekondigd in augustus dit jaar, net wanneer het album uit zal komen.
