BLUTENGEL - release new single / video 'Living On The Edge Of The Night (A Gothic Anthem)'!
Being different, choosing to live differently, having a unique look... The new Blutengel anthem, "Living on the edge of the night (A Gothic Anthem)," delivers an upbeat, earthy, rocking track that hits right forward with a chorus that winds its way down the listener's auricles for days.
"Here, I worked a lot with guitars! Quaver riffs but also acoustic sounds. Maybe a little inspired by the Sisters of Mercy," confirms Chris Pohl of Blutengel. "Lyrically, this is about the individuals living on society's edge. People who seem 'different'... Be it colour, maybe a disability, Gothics...?! People who are excluded by the "majority." All together live on the edge of the night, where you can not exactly see them and where they want to be because swimming with the dull masses, they can not and will not! Other but better!"
