Third full CD on EE Tapes, honoured and excited!
This charming couple from Wallonia [Benedict G and B. Ghola from Insane Music] started as BeNe GeSSeRiT in 1981 and never stopped making music ever since.
Obviously new studio recording equipment was needed over the years, which remodeled their style but never their true spirit: this is supercool insane music!
We had the privilege to select most of the exclusive tracks for this particular album, a weird experience, having no songtitles nor infos at all!
Eccentric ???? Yes Ssssir!!!!
With a little guitar help from Daniel Malempré (M.A.L.) on 2 tracks.
Comes in a 6-panel digipak limited to 400 copies including a 2-sided full-colour photo insert.
Opeth has been injecting their death-growl drenched metal with jazz, blues, folk, kraut- and prog-rock for a quarter century now. Due to that eclectic approach, figurehead Lars Mikael Åkerfeldt and his Swedish accomplices are known as one of the most adventurous metal bands in the world.
On ‘Sorceress’, it’s clear that they’re not planning to throw away a reputation like that. Their twelfth longplayer (via Nuclear Blast i.p.v. Roadrunner Rec.) was recorded with Tom Dalgety (just like previous album ‘Pale Communion’ from ’14) – former dial-spinner for bands like Royal Blood, Band Of Skulls, and Killing Joke. In AB again, for the fifth time, so we know what to expect: a storming battering-ram of refined progressive metal!
Opeth plays on 17th November at Brussels, presales starts on 29th June.
One of the most popular German Melodic-Electro-bands returns. On the long-awaited new album “Peak And Decay”, CHROM create a perfect fusion of club-compatible beats, anthemic tunes, feeling and power.
CHROM always had that certain something that would elevate them from the mass of Future- and Synth-Pop-groups … a perfect hand for gripping melodies, a powerful voice and original electronic sounds with a lot of drive. On the highly anticipated third album “Peak And Decay”, CHROM are expertly evolving this trademark style, while delivering their most versatile release to date. Alongside the tried and tested club-smashers in the vein of the advance single “Regret & Testify”, hit-tunes which CHROM often tend to spice up with a refreshingly harsh edge, they have also thrown new-wavey mid-tempo tunes like the groovy “Heavenly” or heartfelt ballads like the stirring “Farewell Letter” into the mix, this time around. The titular peaks and decays of a sonic curve also stand as a symbol for the ups and downs of each and every existence, which CHROM interpret in 11 songs, sometimes emotional, sometimes employing brute force, sometimes sleazy but always resonating with the listener. “Peak And Decay” will also be released as a deluxe double CD featuring a bonus remix album (with contributions from Blutengel, Lord Of The Lost, Hocico, Erdling, Accessory, Massive Ego and many more.) Life is dancing to an electronic beat... and CHROM's urban club-Pop is the soundtrack!

The undead templars of Heimataerde return with a catchy mix of Electro, medieval music and Neue Deutsche Härte on their new single “Hick Hack Hackebeil“ - a smashing harbinger for the epic new album “Aerdenbrand.“
The henchman grinds his axe, the delinquent readies himself for his final breath. Wrapped in a garb of bauble and taffeta, the beat dances to an intriguing nursery rhyme that feels like the nightmare of a sleepless night, while the melodie “Hick Hack Hackbeil” grinds into the subconscious with pompous choirs. With a fusion of anthem and horror movie, Heimataerde yet again indulge in their unconventional and non-conformist approach to port long gone musical traditions into the here and now. Next to the hit-laden title track which is on the single in three versions, the band is providing catchy club-compatible interpretations of medieval songs with the Jewish “Tsur Mishelo” and the old pilgrim-tune “Stella Splendens.” “Hick Hack Hackebeil” is released as a hand-numbered Digipak MCD, limited to 666 copies. So, shoulder that axe for the last, great dance before the “Aerdenbrand.”
