When many bands lose their lead singer, they simply just give up. It´s easy to replace a keyboard player or drummer. But not your frontfigure.

Especially when he has charisma and vocals loved by everyone. Two years ago this happend to SPARK! Did mastermind and music maestro Mattias Ziessow give up!? NO WAY! Instead he started the quest for a new lead singer. This lead into the album "Spektrum" where he invited several singers to take part as guest singer for each track on the album. One of these was Christer Hermodsson (ex. SPOCK, Biomekkanik).

The combination of Mattias’ distinct feel for EBM mixed with smart melodies and Christers fantastic vocals proved to be nothing less than a mix made in heaven! Soon Christer took permanent place and SPARK! 2.0 saw the light of day!
With "Maskiner" SPARK! proves again why they over the last 9 years has been considered THE leading EBM band. It´s hard, direct, oldschool but with a great portion of new ideas and smart melodies.

Previously located in NYC, now Detroit-based post-punk outfit YOU. released their first two records on Cult of Youth's Sean Ragon's Blind Prophet Records.

Their third LP Sunchaser was released on Dais in 2014. The label properly explains "YOU.’s music up to this point has always pitted its more reflective elements against the austerity of electronics, not so much as to create a warm sound as to invite the listener in as respite from the cold".

Bouquet is their fourth album and features nine new songs.

It is out June 6th on vinyl and digital.

Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime: The Complete Rialto Recordings 1979-1982

This double-CD package boasts all of THE KORGIS recordings for Rialto, including three whole albums: The Korgis (1979), Dumb Waiters (1980) and Sticky George (1981), as well as all of the band’s period A and B sides. ‘Wish You A Merry Christmas’ makes its debut on CD.

• THE KORGIS were a classy pop act who enjoyed significant success in the early 1980s. Their entire output for Rialto Records appears here for the first time.

• The band were formed in 1978 by two former members of Stackridge, Andy Davis and James Warren and scored their first hit with ‘If I Had You’ in 1979 (UK #13).

• THE KORGIS will be forever synonymous with the title track of this new 2-CD package, which gifted them a smash hit in 1980 (UK #5, US #18, Australia #11 France #1, Spain # 1, Netherlands #3, Germany #3). ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’ was subsequently covered by the likes of The Dream Academy, Yazz, Beck, etc.

• This double-CD package boasts all of the band’s recordings for Rialto, including three whole albums: The Korgis (1979), Dumb Waiters (1980) and Sticky George (1981), as well as all of the band’s period A and B sides. ‘Wish You A Merry Christmas’ makes its debut on CD.

• The Korgis reunited for a tour in 2015.

Machinista has some big news as they just signed with the German label Infacted recordings!

Machinista previously were on Analoguetrash Records, a great DIY-label that gives small electronic artists full support.
Machinista will release another release with this British label:

the digital/cassette single "Pain of every day + remixes" which will be released this summer.

After that a new chapter starts in the Machinista book!
