Sequential Access is an Old school EBM collaboration between Marco Defcode (Decoded Feedback) and Claus Larsen (Leæther Strip/Klutæ). Fittingly titled "Sex Addicts Anonymous", the resultant album is 13 tracks of pure golden era electro-industrial. Percussive dance rhythms and arpeggiation are overlaid with catchy lyrics and melodies. "Sex Addicts Anonymous" finds Marco and Claus cranking out a brand of EBM that stomps one foot firmly in the present, one in the halcyon days of the old school European EBM movement of the 80's and 90's

DUTCH VERSION

Cast: Jason Bateman, Kathryn Hahn
Release: 8/10/2014
(Pete Hammond, Movieline).

The very first Babel 17 album is being reissued on vinyl for the first time. Babel 17 was part of the Touching-Pop French scene back in the late 80s/early 90s with bands like Asylum Party and Little Nemo but was a bit darker with a gothic touch.
Hard-edged French coldwave act Babel 17 officially formed in 1989. Members of the band had been playing together under various names since 1983, scrapping, rewriting, and experimenting with songs and ideas before settling upon their official name and sound. The first incarnation’s drummer would go on to join Little Nemo, who helped the newly formed Babel 17 land a record contract with the prestigious Lively Art label (And Also The Trees, Little Nemo, Asylum Party…).
The band released two albums and a series of singles before splitting in 1993, just as their peers were folding and Lively Art closed its doors.
Released in 1990 Celeano Fragments is now reissued on vinyl for the first time.
For fans of Clan Of Xymox, The Danse Society, New Order, Trisomie 21, Asylum Party…
Valeria Golina and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi, two of Italy’s leading actresses, star in Human Capital, a new thriller based on Stephen Amidon’s best-selling book of the same name that twists love, class, and ambition into a singular, true-life story.
Small-time estate agent, Dino (Fabrizio Bentivoglio), seizes a chance to climb the local social-ladder when dropping his beautiful daughter Serena (Matilde Gioli) off to visit her boyfriend Massimiliano (Guglielmo Pinelli) – the son of Giovanni Bernaschi (Fabrizio Gifuni), a hot-shot hedge-fund investor, at a large villa on the edge of town. Making up the fourth man in a game of tennis doubles, his natural sporting ability and opportunistic eye provide him an unlikely entrance to a world where making money is both easy and fast. Depending on your access to the right amount of capital, that is.
When Giovanni suggests Dino join his latest fund scheme, with a mere €500,000, Dino, is so desperate to be a part of the Bernaschi circle that he puts his own house and business up as collateral.
When a cyclist is the victim of an accidental hit-and-run after a school awards ceremony one night just before Christmas the destinies of these two families are catastrophically interwoven and a mystery emerges from the accident that centres around the two misunderstood and emotionally neglected teenagers. Coinciding with the sudden onset of the financial crisis – a situation that threatens the immediate security of the rich and aspiring-rich alike, cracks quickly start to emerge. From the rich and bored wife Carla (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi), with misguided aspirations of artistic patronage, this multi-layered human drama serves up an absorbing treatise on how the rich can ride roughshod over the ‘little people’ when their security is threatened
Human Capital, is a gripping and thrilling drama with a mystery at its centre – who was driving the jeep that fateful night and what will the consequences be – for all involved?
Human Capital will be released by Arrow Films in select cinemas across the UK on 26th September.
Bob Mould has unveiled a new video for "The War" off his critically-lauded album Beauty & Ruin (Merge). The video, which captures the sweaty, rollicking shows Bob and his band are known to put on, as well as other aspects of touring life, is directed by Dave Markey (1991: The Year Punk Broke). Stay tuned until the grand finale, when a special guest makes a sly appearance. Join Bob and his bandmates Jason Narducy and Jon Wurster on tour in "The War".
Bob and director Dave Markey will chat with fans on September 9 at 3:30pm EST during a Reddit AMA session. Ask Bob and Dave any burning questions you have pertaining to the new video, Beauty & Ruin, the history of Punk Rock or just about anything else.
Experience the exciting and cathartic nature of Bob's live show when he brings it to a nearby city. As the Minneapolis Star Tribune witnessed over Labor Day Weekend during a secret show that was announced the day prior and took a mere10 minutes to sell out:
"Mould didn’t allow his bandmates time to catch their breath during most of the first set before tearing into the next song. There was even less room in the second run... he struggled to read the set list at his feet toward show’s end, but that was because he had to take off his glasses. No exaggeration: The lenses kept fogging up from the steam coming off the stage."
Live Nation and Yahoo will be live-streaming the September 5 kick-off of Bob and the band’s next run of dates in its entirety live from the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia. This Bob Mould event is one of 365 concerts to stream over a 12-month period on the Live Nation Channel on Yahoo Screen, and will go live at 10:10pm EST/7:10pm PST on September 5 at https://screen.yahoo.com/live/event/bob-mould.
Bob and his band will be making stops in the US and Europe throughout the fall. See where they are heading next by visiting http://bobmould.com/tour/.
