M83 is Anthony Gonzalez, born in Antibes, France. His music is inspired by Krautrock, 80’s pop, shoegazing scene and movie soundtracks.
Since 2001, M83 has released 5 albums, which all became cult, with remarkable success in the USA.
M83 has already influenced many contemporary artists, and some of the most famous asked him to remix their music: Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Goldfrapp, Deftones, Bloc Party and Placebo amongst others.
During the worldwide tour of his latest album ‘’Saturdays = Youth’’ (2008, produced by Ken Thomas), he supported the Killers in the USA, Kings of Leon in the UK, and Depeche Mode in France, Italy and Germany.
Naïve, Paris-based international label, will continue the story of this unique artist who conquered the American big spaces.
A new M83 album, that he qualifies himself being ‘’epic pop’’, is planned for the fall 2011.

One of the reunions we were looking most forward to was the one from The Danse Society.
Their album "Heaving Is Waiting" from 1983 is undoubtely one of the milestones in the new wave-genre.
Out of a sudden Paul Nash, Dave Whiteaker and Paul Gilmartin teamed up with female singer Maeth Allsop to give The Danse Society a second life which seems to result in a new album named "Change Of Skin" that will be released this summer.
Will it be as good as that classic album? Let's see and wait....
