Industrial/Rock Band DEADLIGHT HOLIDAY Unleash Their New Single, 'Blood And Body'
Michigan-based industrial/rock band DEADLIGHT HOLIDAY have unleashed their highly-anticipated new single, "Blood And Body." The visualizer made its premiere on March 17th at ReGen Magazine HERE:
The single also appears with a remix version from ANGELSPIT and is available NOW via Bandcamp.
"The lyrics draw from American culture, and our collective cognitive dissonance towards the problems we all help create as a humans. I don't think it's our job as musicians to solve or answer anything, but rather to call attention to subject matter, and create a 'question mark' of sorts for people to make up their own mind. "

Released before In Absentia signed contract with Hard Records in 1993, Charnel House Chatterbox was a sort of "greatest hits" demo compilation In Absentia released in 1992, containing the most popular tracks from previous demo tapes and live shows. Today the cassette album is regarded as a 'cult' item from the early Danish EBM scene.
At a recent visit to the archives of In Absentia the original DAT tape with the album showed up. As the years have been kind to the tape and the songs sounded just as crisp as when it was recorded back then (well, mind that it WAS lo-fi production at the time) In Absentia decided to digitalize it and give it a remaster. The result is now here for you to re-visit 1992 and the era of old school EBM and electro punk in all its lo-fi glory!

Echozone just released We Are The First by Projekt Ich feat. Electric City Cowboys
With ”We Are The First“, Projekt Ich aka Ulf Müller is going to release the sixth single from the forthcoming second studio album which will be released via Echozone in autumn / winter 2021.
Following the successful debut album “By Train Through Countries” (2019), Ulf took a short creative break before getting back to work again. He produced several demo songs to continue the debut album’s proven concept of cooperating with various talented singers from all over the world.
This time, Ulf was able to get the vocal support of Martin Johansson from the Swedish synthpop trio Electric City Cowboys. Martin wrote the bilingual lyrics (verses in Swedish / chorus in English) dealing with social criticism. The bilingual singing concept switching between Swedish and English works again impeccably for “We Are The First” as it did for the previous single releases “The Stranger feat. Faltenhall" (German / English), “Sexy Silly Girl feat. Stereo In Solo" (French / English) and “Honey Cherie Honey feat. Stereo In Solo" (French / English).
„We Are The First“ is pure synthpop with an 80s touch: catchy, danceable and likely to listen to.
Blutengel dedicate themselves again to the eighties and present ten iconic songs from this musically formative decade in their very own style on the forthcoming album "Fountain of Destiny". Blutengel succeeds in an impressive balancing act, while respectfully retaining the original essence of the song and at the same time infusing each track with their very unique touch. In addition, two brand new Blutengel songs are added as bonus tracks, which fit perfectly on the new album "Fountain of Destiny".
Be it the emotional "Forever Young" that is released today, or the already in the original wonderfully twisted "Dr. Mabuse" or the dystopian "Down in the Park" - there is heart and soul in each of the cover versions on the new Blutengel album "Fountain Of Destiny", which offers a sheer delight for the ears and the spirit combined at the same time with skilled musicianship and a natural feeling for creating the perfect sound.
The cover songs were handpicked by Chris and Ulrike Goldmann and are those tracks "that appeared to me to be out of this world from today's point of view", Chris explains with sparkling eyes that you only get when listening to the music of the eighties. The fact that "Fountain of Destiny" could become a real Blutengel album after all, which was initially announced as an EP/mini-album, is owed to the commitment of the label, Out Of Line Music, as well as the artists themselves. "We, unfortunately, had very few clearances at the end of the year.... together with the label, we decided to wait a little longer and give the copyright holders another go," informs Chris. And that paid off! And as Chris confirms "there are now 10 tracks and plus my two own Blutengel songs we even have 12 songs now - which is absolutely perfect for an album. Sometimes patience is worth it!".
