Killing Joke have announced an extension to their deal with Finnish label Spinefarm.
The band will share more details after the summer, but expect a new studio album. As well, the label and band will work together on re-issuing some of Killing Joke's back catalogue which will be repackaged and improved. We don't know exactly which albums it are, but we'll let you know!
Killing Joke can be seen at this year's Summer Darkness.
The very nice label Desire Records is promising us some very interesting things to come on their roster. Soon there will be albums by You Animals, Jewels Of The Nile and a 12" EP with Newcastle's finest Retriever

Rayographs
Rayographs debut album is finally available on vinyl. Limited edition of 300 copies. Colored vinyl (blue). Including deluxe download mp3 dropcard + PVC bag. Hailed by us and described by NME as such : "Rayographs have proved that it’s possible to pay homage to the shonky aesthetic of days gone by without camouflaging half-arsed tunes beneath layers of fuzz…innovating rather than imitating"
Joie Noire
Joie Noire is the new project by Parisian (the first French act to sign on desire for an album) producer/engineer/dj Jérôme Caron aka Blackjoy. With Blackjoy he is producing nice and groovy disco tracks for the last decade or so and for Joie Noire he is introducing his dark side.
A motionless journey shaped by the likes of Can and Weather Report to Carl Craig and Plastikman to name a few. Further influences span from Indian music, science fiction soundtracks, and the arpeggio laden early 80’s TV show themes.
It includes a great Sylverster cover (I Need Somebody To Love Tonight). Album cover by comic addict, journalist and musician himself, Joseph Ghosn. Some remixes are already in production: NTRSN, Mike Textbeak, Valis, //TENSE//, Newclear Waves, Holy Strays, Boombass, Trésors, Dream Into Dust...
The vinyl version is limited to 300 copies on black vinyl with deluxe download mp3 dropcard & PVC bag.

Finally available is the repress of the //TENSE// debut album & 21st Century EBM classic 'Memory'. Only 200 copies made on red vinyl + insert. The sleeve has been printed on chrome color paper and the back cover is finally unleashed for the first time.
Today the people from New Wave Classix have revealed the line up for the next RewindFest which takes place on 7th October at the usual location : Vooruit in Ghent.
Blancmange and Flesh And Fell were already announced and now you can add Absolute Body Control and Psyche to that list as well.
