After the great success of the desert hit A Fistful Of Desert Blues, Lydia Lunch & Cypress Grove meet the nihilist folk of Spiritual Front.
Twin Horses is the encounter between two intense musical souls. Miss Lunch’s melancholic Acoustic Blues meets Simone Salvatori’s Sensual and Cathartic Folk.
Lydia Lunch’s voice has never been so touching and moving; on the other side there is an inspired Spiritual Front that does not settle but goes beyond the soul of “suicide pop” to give us it’s new acoustic soul. On Twin Horses, besides unedited pieces, Lydia and Cypress interpret the Eagles’ song “Hotel California” in a desert blues style and Simone plays his version of W.A.S.P.’s “Love Machine” in folk style.
A fundamental album for two wonderful thoroughbreads.

Arrow Films’ Noir label continues to scour the globe bringing UK viewers the very best in foreign language film and television. Following the incredible success of Danish dramas The Killing, Borgen and The Bridge, and French title Braquo, Nordic Noir are pleased to announce the arrival of a host of new Italian shows to their roster of Noir titles.
Such is the strength of Italian crime television that Arrow Films have launched Criminale Italia, an exciting new subsidiary of their Noir label. Alongside the upcoming and acclaimed modern-day Italian gangster epic Gomorrah, the label will release the hugely popular Italian shows Inspector Nardone and Fog & Crimes on DVD from 27th October.
Inspector Nardone synopsis
Post-war Milan is the ideal breeding ground for a new wave of criminal activity. A crime-scene that is very different from what we are used to today: an old-fashioned system of organized crime, made up of thieves and outlaws who share a specific moral code, which absolutely condemns homicide. A new chief officer is assigned to the Milan Police Department, as if to settle a score for having exposed his corrupt colleagues. This is just one of the various difficulties that Mario Nardone, an authentic Neapolitan, must face in the sophisticated and urbane Milan. A city which, nevertheless, Nardone loves unconditionally, and where he plans to bring up his beloved, albeit somewhat neglected, children.
Based on a real figure, Mario Nardone was a true legend in Milan during the 50’s and 60’s. Straightforward, persistently stubborn but also endowed with a strong moral code and a great sense of humanity, Nardone has deep loves; including his long-suffering family, good cuisine and cracking jokes at every opportunity.
Fogs and Crimes synopsis
Inspired by the four famous novels by Valerio Varesi, each episode follows an investigation by Soneri, Ferrara Police Chief. He works with a faithful squad on a series of crimes, each hiding a disturbing mystery, with the startling and grotesque undertones of the apparently calm world of the wealthy countryside.
South London collective Archive announce details of their new album ‘Restriction’ and mammoth ‘Restriction 2015’ European tour. The new album follows hot on the heels of the collective’s ‘Axiom’ film project released to critical acclaim earlier this year - ‘Axiom’ was selected for the Sundance Film festival in April 2014 and was performed live at a sell-out London Roundhouse show and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
New album ‘Restriction’ was produced by longtime collaborator Jerome Devoise and Archive, and will be released worldwide on the band's own Dangervisit label via [PIAS] on 12th January 2015. Speaking about the new album Archive co-founder Darius Keeler says: “We set out to make an album with 12 individual and distinct songs, all coming from a similar place but at the same time musically diverse and unique. One of the things I love about Archive is the way we’ve been able to change and evolve with each record and take our fans on a journey. ‘Restriction’ is the next leg of the journey and I can’t wait to share it with the people who matter most.”
First tasters from the ‘Restriction’ album come in the form of three singles, ‘Feel It’, ‘Black And Blue’ and ‘Kid Corner’ with all three released simultaneously today. Talking about the reasoning behind releasing three single simultaneously Keeler says: “Our aim was to make an album where each track was as strong as the one before it, and having done that we didn’t want to put the focus on to just one “single”. Ideally we’d release every track off the album individually, putting out three singles at once will give people a better picture of the full scope of the album. It’s also a very un-Archive thing to do, which was obviously half the appeal!”
Videos for all three singles can be seen now of the band’s website - www.archiveofficial.com – or by clicking on the titles above. Fans can download the singles now or pre-order the album and receive all three singles immediately from iTunes by clicking HERE.

Archive will be touring the UK and Europe throughout 2015 with the first leg of the tour kicking off in Amsterdam on February 20th.
The ‘Restriction 2015’ tour promises to be the band’s biggest and most ambitious live production to date and will feature the screening of the Axiom film before the band’s live set each night. As Darius states: “The live setting has always been vital to Archive, we try to make each tour unique and special, I think we’ve set the bar high this time, I really can’t wait to get out there and take the new show to the fans!” The tour will conclude in October when the collective will play two nights at the (6000 cap) Zenith in Paris. The full list of tour dates can be found on the band's website and are listed below.
‘Restriction’ will be released 12th January on Dangervisit via [PIAS]. The full list of tour dates below. A pressday in Brussels in December is to be confirmed!

Hypnosis (sometimes also spelled Hipnosis) was a successful Italian techno-disco band in the early '80s, born in Parma, founded by Stefano Cundari. It featured – amongst others – also Paul Sears (later Kirlian Camera) and from the beginning of the year 1982 Angelo Bergamini, also Kirlian Camera joined the band. Cundari had the idea of covering the song "Pulstar" by Vangelis.
Hypnosis in a short time became one of the most successful Italo disco bands in history and ‘Pulstar’ sold over one million (1’000’000!!!) copies worldwide and even made it into the Top 10 in Germany and enterted the charts in countless other countries in Europe and around the world. In the ensuing period all of the original members left the project and Bergamini turned down the proposition to stay as a composer and musician of the new line-up and decided to leave the sixty date world tour to concentrate on Kirlian Camera.
At the same time as Hipnosis was developing, Paul Sears officially joined Kirlian Camera's new line-up. In 1987 Cundari released another 7"/12" ("Droid") under the Hipnosis banner. Soon after he passed away. At this point the official Hipnosis- Story ends. In 1991 a CD anthology entitled "Hypnosis" was released. In 1992 a certain Humphrey Robertson released a single and an album for ZYX Records under the name Hypnosis. On both releases the font-logo which can be seen on the "Hypnosis"-CD was used – it was obvious that the label tried to re-animate Hypnosis with other musicians. The last sign of life of this replica was another 12" record in 1994. In 2006 Angelo Bergamini recorded the Song "Kaczynski Code" for the Kirlian Camera album "Coroner's Sun" under the name Hipnosis Italy. This new ‘Best of’ by Hypnosis contains ALL their 80s hits: First of all the legendary ‘Pulstar’ (1983), but also the singles ‘Oxygene’ (1983), ‘Argonauts’ (1984), ‘Droid’ (1987) and many more. A CLASSIC release for all Italo Disco and Space Synth fans!
Out on 12th November on Warner the HBO-series Getting On
Set in a women’s extended-care unit of a Long Beach, CA hospital, Getting On follows the daily lives of a ragtag staff assigned to care for elderly patients who are, well, getting on. Nurse DiDi (Niecy Nash) is the no-nonsense newbie who spends her first day on the job being reprimanded for cleaning up unidentified feces left in the lounge. Unit veteran Nurse Dawn (Alex Borstein) is tasked with training DiDi, but winds up obsessing over a budding relationship with male Supervising Nurse Patsy (Mel Rodriguez) – a new hire who tries to implement a Disney-inspired, customercentric work culture, while fending off questions about his sexual orientation. Disgruntled Dr. Jenna James (Laurie Metcalf), appointed director of the ward thanks to a meltdown at the hospital proper, continues her above-it-all temper tantrums despite being given a fresh start. Dr. James and Patsy butt heads along the way, particularly when Patsy’s surveys reveal that the whole lot of them are underperforming in this rundown, red-tape-filled hospital off-shoot.
