For many BIM visitors the Belgian band Honeymoon Cowboys was one of the highlights.
This band consists of Antonio Palermo (guitar) and Klaas Hoogerwaard (drums), both ex- Siglo XX, along with Tom Van Troyen (vocals, formerly Spiral Of Silence ), Kris Dries (bass , guitar) and Thomas François (keyboard, guitar).
It is often said that Honeymoon Cowboys come up with the sound that Siglo XX stopped with in 1991.
On 6th May, the debut album by Honeymoon Cowboys (Still) will be released which is a mix of studio recordings and live tracks that are recorded last year.
On 7 May 2016, the band presents its debut album for Café Café Hasselt.

Op zes mei verschijnt Still, het debuut van Honeymoon Cowboys een mix van studio opnamen en vorig jaar opgenomen livetracks.
Op 7 Mei 2016 stelt de band hun debuut CD voor in Café Café Hasselt.
Liz Wendelbo and Sean McBride, or Xeno & Oaklander for the minimal wave fans, are back. Soon their fifth album Topiary will be out. It will be the first album by Xeno & Oaklander on which McBride (Martial Canterel) won’t sing.
On 19th April Xeno & Oaklander play at De Kleine Hedonist in Antwerp. We already can offer you the brand new single as a first listen.

Who wants to play on BIMFest ? That was the question BodyBeats asked a few months ago. Who was interested could participate in the poppoll to win a place at the Dark Demons Nights at which twice four groups play, hoping that they will win a place on the BIMFestival on 16th and 17th December in De Casino in St. -Niklaas.

Wie wil er op BIMFest spelen? Zo luidde de vraag een paar maanden geleden van BodyBeats. Wie interesse had kon deelnemen aan de poppoll om zo een plaatsje te veroveren op de Dark Demons Nights waar twee keer vier groepen worden voorgesteld, en die natuurlijk hopen dat ze een plaats kunnen veroveren op het BIMFestival op 16 en 17 december in De Casino te Sint-Niklaas.

The Belgian band Them Chemicals has recorded two songs in the Lakehouse-studio : Jihad and Info In.
Ruben Roox was responsible for the professional guidance.
Both songs are featured on the EP Electric Animal which is now available at http://www.themchemicals.com/electric-animal/
The song Teach Me How To Dance is also featured on the EP.
De Brugse band Them Chemicals heeft twee songs opgenomen in de Lakehouse studio: Jihad en Info In.

The legendary noise band Swans announced a new album : Glowing Man which will appear on June 17, 1016 on Mute. The clip below provides a preview of the new CD.
The new CD also will be available with a DVD that features a live concert of 2015. Swans was founded in 1982 by Michael Gira and returned in 1997 after a split with strong records like My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope To The Sky, The Seer and To Be Kind. The band announced a US and European tour (in Belgium on October 6 at the AB, Brussels), but first you can see Gira solo on April 13, also at the AB.
De legendarische noiseband Swans heeft een nieuwe cd aangekondigd: Glowing Man en zal op 17 juni 1016 verschijnen op Mute. Het clipje onderaan biedt al een voorsmaakje van de nieuwe plaat aan.
De nieuwe cd zal ook als een cd met dvd beschikbaar zijn met daarop een liveconcert van Swans uit 2015.
