Today, exactly 15 years ago, American Industrial Metal band Ministry released their eighth studio album Animositisomina (18.02.2003). It was the last Ministry album to feature Al Jourgensen’s longtime partner in crime and bass-player / composer / producer Paul Barker, ending the Luxa/Pan production era. Later, Jourgensen would reveal in an interview that this is one of his least-favourite Ministry albums saying “it was no fun to make” as he was forced to quit his heroin habits during the recording sessions.

The Czech atmospheric dark folk duo Nemuer has just released its new music video "Descent to the Realm of the Dead". The track is from their upcoming third album "Gardens of Babylon", which is Babylonian-themed and contains Ancient Babylonian lyrics. The video was shot in Czechia, and delves into the existential deepness of death and its irreversibility.
Through their dreamy acoustic music, Nemuer brings ancient myths and stories back to life. In order to keep the atmosphere utterly immersive, they use solely authentic dead languages or lyricless primordial chanting. The duo has never been about music only. They create a hypnotic, transcendent experience that combines art with ancient mysticism. Touring mostly across the Europe, a part of Nemuer's shows is a performance on an Ancient Egyptian harp, which is unique worldwide.
The upcoming album "Gardens of Babylon" will take its listeners to the legendary Gardens of Babylon, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, the King Nebuchadnezzar II's gift to his beloved wife, queen Amytis. The album contains Ancient Babylonian lyrics that were extracted and arranged from original texts more than three thousand years old. The album release party will take place in Prague, and The Moon and the Nightspirit, the Hungarian pagan folk legend, will do to the ceremony.
The music video is about loss of a loved one and the terrible struggle accepting it. As in many ancient myths, the hero does not want to let it go and ventures to the underworld to make a difference instead.
The album release date is set for 25th February 2018

3DFLY, featuring Dirk Da Davo (The Neon Judgement/Neon Electronics) releases EP!
3DFLY is a one-off project of Dirk Da Davo (known from his New Wave past with The Neon Judgement) and Make Makena, who shared productions and stages with, amongst others, The The, Screaming Trees, Bootsy Collins and many more. They met a few years ago, there was a spark and they decided that when the right time came they would start a musical adventure together... and the time came. They decided to call their project “3DFLY”.
3DFLY fuses groovy basslines with stunning beats and rebellious lyrics that are not pulling any punches. Keep an eye on 3DFLY!

The Arch announces new album concept and will release one brand new song every month of 2018!
In 2016, The Arch released Fates, some say one of their best albums so far!
The band played the biggest festivals like M’era Luna, Wfest, Young & Cold festival in Augsburg and headline shows in Paris, London and Cologne. They also joined Skinny Puppy and Clan of Xymox in den Haag and Oberhausen.
"We didn’t stop making music”. We had so many ideas and songs that we wanted to make a successor for Fates.
In December 2018 we will release a new album with 12 new songs but we want to release each song seperately through the year. Every month a new one will be launched on itunes/spotify through Trisol. Each song will be created, mixed and finished before we start other ones. Why? Each song is a world on its own: a different story, atmosphere and sound. We want to have another approach than the usual, when a band goes into the studio with an amount of songs, and finish them as a whole, with the same global sound.
In a way, we start an album without being an album. And also not knowing how it will sound at the end. That makes it a whole different approach. And it makes us curious. It’s like an adventure.
In the end we have 12 songs that are also inspired by the month we are releasing it.
Winter will be different than Autumn. Maybe darker. Maybe warmer. We don’t know. Every song gets special artwork and sleeve so they all look like singles. We are also working on video material to release with every track."

"After reading ‘The Girl Who Played with Fire’, the second novel in the Millennium series by the Swedish writer, Stieg Larsson, we were inspired to write that song. At the end Lisbeth Salander is buried alive. When you are listening to our song, you got to imagine what is happening, when you’re buried alive yourself and you suddenly realize it. "
