This is not a virus, this is not war, this is not hatred, this is pure electronic torture… this is Circuito Cerrado!
After 4 years of silence , „Menschdefekt“ is back again with their second release called “Touch of Madness” which will bring you a cavalcade of dance floor tracks with catchy melodies, fast beats and a lot of atmosphere. Everything has been updated and evolved since “The human Parasite” and the sound is stronger and better than before.
Expect to hear songs about a society on the brink of corruption and a dying human breed.13 new unreleased tracks which will deliver a variety of styles in both songs and vocals. Expect everything from fast and hard to slow and atmospheric“. A must have for all harsh electro lovers and fans of bands such as Grendel, Hocico, Suicide Commando or Combichrist.
“Wax Wings Will Burn” is the third full-length album from the monstrously seductive act SHIV-R. The duo comprised of Pete Crane and Ben Bulig has carved out a name as an “elegant yet hard- hitting” force in the industrial landscape with club-staples such as “Parasite” and “Pharmaceutical Grade” haunting alternative dancefloors the world over. Through festival shows and headlining tours throughout Europe and America the band have delivered their provocative visuals and high- energy stage show to thousands of stomping feet, and their flamboyantly dark visual edge com- bined with harsh yet dynamic music has lead the press to coin the term "Lace Industrial" to describe their unique genre.
With their previous EP “Shadow Between Worlds”, SHIV-R hinted at a more evolved approach, combining the high-octane aggression of songs such as “Talent for Violence” with more intimate and vocally expressive songs such as “Blood Rose”. “Wax Wings Will Burn” doesn’t stand in the way of this evolution and delivers sounds as diverse as the dirty electro of “Eye of the Needle”, the industrial aggression of “Shadow With a Voice” and the psychological horror-inducing sound design of the closing piece “Lifelike”. “And now it’s time to see your life through another monster’s eyes”.

NYC post-punk outfit YOU. recently announced their new LP for Dais Records by sharing the incredibly catchy single "Feral", the album is due out next week and today are releasing the video for said single. It was created and directed by band member Scott Kiernan, who is also the director of NYC experimental public access show E.S.P. TV. Here is a bit of what he had to say about the video:
"I wanted an energy and physicality to match the song which came about from experimenting in real time with electronic hardware, signal generators, feedback loops, and revived TV production equipment rather than constructing a narrative around interpreting the lyrics. By working in this tactile way, everything got a more visceral feel to it, that sort of takes on a different life past any symbolic content of each image.
A lot of the images are fairly everyday or banal in content (a stray cat, an adams apple swallowing, a stopwatch, hands clapping, someone sitting on a couch) but these everyday scenes are sent through a bunch of clunky machines over and over and abused until they are rendered into something more physical. That approach seemed to fit with the song..."
You can check out the video below, the album is out next week.
