There is some news from The Juggernauts front. The Belgian EBM act that released two years ago on Out Of Line the Phoenix EP works on a new CD that is (almost) ready !
We can’t reveal further explanation, except the fact that they will present most songs of the brand new disc on Friday, 18th December at BIM (Antwerp, Zappa )!
Tickets for BIM are available here. On the same day is also Honeymoon Cowboys (with some Siglo XX numbers), Destin Fragile and IC 434.
On the second day both Bettina Koster and Project Pitchfork are the headlining acts.
Er is nieuws van het Juggernauts-front. De Belgische EBM-act die twee jaar geleden op Out Of Line de Phoenix EP uitbracht is volop aan het werken aan een cd die (bijna) klaar is!
Veel informatie kunnen we nog niet vrijgeven, behalve dat het schijfje begin 2016 zal worden uitgebracht. Maar natuurlijk kan dat ook een beetje vroeger, zoals bijv. op vrijdag 18 december tijdens BIM (Antwerpen, Zappa) waar The Juggernauts hun gloednieuwe songs voor het eerst zullen voorstellen!
Kaartjes voor BIM kan je hier vinden. Op dezelfde dag staat ook Honeymoon Cowboys (met Siglo XX-nummers), Destin Fragile en IC 434 op het programma.
Op de tweede dag staan o.a. Bettina Koster en Project Pitcfork op het podium.
Soon we can enjoy the newest album by Star Industry, as the Belgian goth rockers are working on a new album, the successor of The Renegade. But there is some other news from the Star Industry-front!
It is already more than 15 years ago (in fact it was the summer of 1999 to be exact) that the Belgian goth act released their EP New Millennium. This EP is a collector now, but no worries. From now on you can stream the EP as a download via Bandcamp.
This EP also includes Kings & Queens, the Killing Joke song.
We moeten nog eventjes geduld hebben vooraleer we van de nieuwe Star Industry kunnen genieten, want de Belgische gothrockers zijn volop bezig aan de opnames van de opvolger van The Renegade. Maar er is ondertussen wel ander nieuws van het Star Industry-front!
Het is ondertussen al meer dan 15 jaar geleden (de zomer van 1999 om precies te zijn) dat de Belgische gothact hun EP New Millennium uitbracht. Deze EP moet je uiteraard niet meer in de winkels zoeken, maar geen nood. Vanaf nu kun je de EP als download streamen via Bandcamp.

It happens to everyone, and also unfortunately with Popsimonova. The Croatian artist announces that she is forced to cancel her show at BIM this weekend due to illness.
The organizers have done everything to find an act that matters: IC 434.
IC 434 already is since 1994 one of Flanders’ best dark electro bands. Who ever saw IC434, know that this energetic act especially stars on stage and therefore BIM is the ideal place!

Het overkomt iedereen, en jammer genoeg ook Popsimonova. De Kroatische artieste laat weten dat zij haar optreden op BIM dit weekend moet opzeggen wegens ziekte.
De organisatoren hebben alle hens aan dek gezet om een waardige vervanger te vinden, en dat is met IC 434 gelukt.
IC 434 is al sinds 1994 één Vlaanderens beste dark electro bands. Wie ooit IC434 zag, weet dat deze energieke act vooral op een podium tot uiting komt en dus op BIM een ideale plek heeft.

You certainly know the names of JimBob and Fruitbat if you were a fan of Carter USM. Anyone who was in love with indie during the 90s certainly had a record of this legendary duo from London at home. Today many indie bands sound dated, but the music of these two still conjures a smile on our face.
Cherry Red Records made it a habit to release about everything that has been lost, and in December the label will release the last radio session by Carter USM (transmitted by Steve Lamacq) on CD.
On December 11th, 2015 Hello , Good Evening , Welcome And Goodbye is in the shops and you'll find versions of hits such as Rubbish , The Only Living Boy In New Cross, Sheriff Fatman, the Pet Shop Boys cover Rent and This Is How It Feels with guest vocals by Tom Hingley, the frontman of Inspiral Carpets on the album.
Je kent ongetwijfeld wel de namen van JimBob en Fruitbat als je fan was van Carter USM. Iedereen die zich met indie bezighield in de jaren 90 had wel een plaat van dit legendarische duo uit Londen in huis. Vele indiebands klinken anno 2015 vrij verouderd, maar de muziek van deze twee tovert nog steeds een glimlach op ons gezicht.
Cherry Red Records heeft er ondertussen een gewoonte van gemaakt om zowat alles wat verloren is gegaan opnieuw uit te brengen en in in december wordt de laatste radio sessie van Carter USM (uitgezonden door Steve Lamacq) op cd uitgebracht.
