Hank Palmer is a successful defense attorney in Chicago, who is getting a divorce. When His brother calls with the news that their mother has died, Hank returns to his childhood home to attend the funeral. Despite the brittle bond between Hank and the Judge, Hank must come to his father's aid and defend him in court. Here, Hank discovers the truth behind the case, which binds together the dysfunctional family and reveals the struggles and secrecy of the family.

SYNOPSIS
Advocaat Hank Palmer keert terug uit de grote stad naar zijn geboortedorp, waar zijn van hem vervreemde vader ‒ de plaatselijke rechter (Robert Duvall) ‒ wordt verdacht van moord. Terwijl Hank achter de waarheid probeert te komen, herstelt geleidelijk het contact met zijn familie; de familie die hij jaren geleden was ontvlucht.

Eurorock is pleased to announce that the Swedish symphonic metal band Therion founded by Christofer Johnsson in 1987 will be playing at the upcoming edition of EUROROCK, (more precisely day 3, on May 16th) ! Originally a death metal band, Therion adjusted its musical style by adding orchestral elements, including choirs, classical musicians, and even a full orchestra at their concert performances. As a result, it has popularized the symphonic metal genre. The band will be joined by Isa García Navas on vocals!
