An recently released a children's album, and on 22n April the album Arches will be out: a collection of songs that are built around an organ, a drum machine and heavenly harmonies.The album was produced by Koen Gisen.Arches is the first part, the second part (Cluster) appears after the summer.
And An seems to love concerts in churches because on 12th May 12 during the Nuits Botanique, she will play at the Dominican Church in Brussels. She gets the help from Loesje Maieu (Flying Horseman, Blackie & The Oohoos) and Kaat Hellings, the classically trained organist Karel De Wilde and with Koen Gisen on guitar, percussion and bass clarinet.

Ondertussen wordt An benadert door regisseur Jaco Van Dormael voor het componeren van de soundtrack van Le Tout Nouveau Testament.
Maar het orgel laat haar niet los...
Bracht An onlangs nog een kinderplaat uit, dan verschijnt er op 22 april het album Arches: een verzameling songs die is opgebouwd rond kerkorgel, drumcomputer en hemelse harmonieën.
Het album is geproduceerd door (hoe kan het ook anders) Koen Gisen.
Arches is het eerste deel, het tweede luik (Cluster) verschijnt na de zomer.
En An houdt blijkbaar van kerkconcerten, want op 12 mei staat ze tijdens de Nuits Botanique in de Dominicaanse Kerk in Brussel. Minor Victories just announced that the debut album will be released on 3th June, 2016. The name might be unfamiliar , but it is a super group formed by Stuart Braithwaite of Mogwai , Rachel Goswell of Slowdive , Justin Lockey of Editors and his brother James Minor.What initially began as a joke to make a noise EP with fragile female vocals, ultimately has become an album with ten tracks. We already can offer you a music video, and it just tastes for more. In any case, Minor Victories is according to Rachel the most exciting she has done in her career so far. Wat aanvankelijk als een grap begon om een noise ep uit te brengen met fragiele vrouwenvocals is dus uiteindelijk een plaat geworden met daarop tien tracks. Since the beginning, a distinguishing feature of Iszoloscope has been the addition of intelligent and unexpected details to the basic ingredients that industrial music is known for. For the seventh album False Vacuum, Yann Faussurier raises the bar in a most astounding way.
Within these nine tracks Iszoloscope is establishing ties between a myriad of different styles ranging from solemn orchestral constructs and rich dark ambient soundscapes to sequenced hard-hitting technoid industrial rhythms and fast remorseless drum and bass beat structures. Mighty pulsating sub basses and loony melodic curls, hypnotic percussion and carefully placed bursts of electronics evoke highly energetic atmospheres of power and tension that resonate inside the listener's mind.
Accompanied by many personal changes it took Iszolocsope nearly four years to complete this opus, and after taking a deep view everyone will agree it was worth waiting for. Highly recommended.
Al sinds het begin is het kenmerkend voor Iszoloscope dat bezieler Yann Faussurier intelligente en onverwachte details toevoegt aan de basisingrediënten van industriële muziek. Met dit zevende album False Vacuum heeft Yann de lat nog wat hoger gelegd dan bij zijn vorige releases.
Binnen de negen nummers verweeft Iszoloscope een groot aantal verschillende stijlen, variërend van orkestraal en ambient soundscapes tot industriële ritmes en snel meedogenloze drum and bassritmes, alsook hypnotiserende percussie en zorgvuldig geplaatste uitbarstingen van elektronica.
Het duurde bijna vier jaar om dit opus te voltooien, maar iedereen is het ermee eens dat het het wachten waard was!

Body Beats almost completed the full lineup of BIMFest 2016. The names will follow later, but as the festival always had an eye for new talent, therefore there is still space for two Belgian acts that will open the festival.
Who will that be? That’ll be decided during the pre-selection on 4th and 18th June 18 in the Kavka, Antwerp.

Bodybeats is bijna klaar met de volledige line-up van BIMFest 2016. De namen volgen later, maar het festival heeft altijd oog gehad voor nieuw talent en daarom is er nog plaats voor twee Belgische acts die het festival zullen mogen openen.
Wie dat mag worden, zal tijdens de preselectie op 4 en 18 juni in de Kavka worden bepaald.
