Discussions concerning the feeling making a human soul stronger than steel or a stone formed the basis for a joint project of the martial/neofolk duet ORDER OF VICTORY and the abstract ritual ambient/post-industrial band SACRIS TANDEM. What is the reason why "in chess… a knight is always stronger than a pawn, and two pawns are always stronger than one, while in war a battalion is sometimes stronger than a division and sometimes weaker than a company"? Exactly at war, two forces face each other: a human soul and a war God encased in armor of the most heat resisting and bulletproof materials. What will be stronger? Therefore, by means of their creative work "Strength Of Materials" the musicians tried to answer this question.
The album is released as CD limited to 400 numbered copies in A5 digifile format.
Live album Freakangel to be launched simultaneously on Bandcamp + YouTube
It’s not too often that industrial bands release live albums, let alone full blown live videos. But Freakangel is one of those exceptions. Recorded during their extended “The Ones To Fall” tour last winter, they have just released the 11-track counting live download album “The Show Of Violence” via Bandcamp and several other download stores.
The live album acts as a closing chapter for the band’s 3 first albums (plus multiple EP releases) before returning with a next full length studio album in 2016. Unlike many other industrial bands, what you get live from Freakangel is quite different from the studio versions. “The Show Of Violence” therefor gives you the opportunity to rediscover the band’s discography in alternative live versions.
The concert was recorded at the Rockstar’s Club in the band’s very own city Tallinn – Estonia, and was also filmed using 5 different cameras. The video of the live concert will be spread for free on several internet platforms.

This year Peter Slabbynck (EX-RZ, formerly known as Red Zebra) celebrated 35 years ‘I can’t live in a living room’ with 35 gigs in living rooms of fans. 34 concerts were given during the month of March. The 35th gig took place in May because it was a gift by Studio Brussel.
Slabbynck always stated this was an event would not be repeated. But because of all the positive reactions, he opted for a new event next year: 8 concerts at living rooms of fans on 1 day!
This will take place on Sunday 27th March 2016, so Easter will not only bring eggs next year. By that time the first cd ‘Future Retard’ of EX-RZ should be out.

Voor Slabbynck was dit een eenmalig evenement en daar blijft hij bij. Maar de reacties waren zo overweldigend dat er een vervolg komt. ‘In 2016 gaat we het tegenovergestelde doen van een marathon en opteren we voor een sprint. De bedoeling is om op zondag 27 maart 8 concerten op één dag te doen, het eerste om 9u, het laatste om 23u. Een ferme uitdaging, vooral op organisatorisch vlak, en niet toevallig op Pasen. Dan is het rustig op de wegen en kunnen mijn gitarist Frits Standaert en ik op Paasmaandag wat bekomen van die helse dag.’ Rond diezelfde periode verschijnt ook ‘Future Retard’, de eerste full cd van EX-RZ. Apparat has announced details of a tour - Soundtracks Live - at select venues throughout Europe from August – November 2015. The dates begin at the Festival Tauron Nowa Muzyka in Katovice on 20 August and include a London show at the Barbican on 7 November 2015, which will be followed by a club night at the Village Underground later that evening.
Apparat’s set will include new music written for film and theatre and will be accompanied by long time collaborators Transforma. Transforma performed with Apparat on the 2013 Krieg and Frieden tour, projecting their live visual accompaniment to Apparat’s music for Tolstoy’s War and Peace and recently worked on the recent Martin Gore album launch in their hometown of Berlin (www.transforma.de).
In addition, Apparat has announced details of a series of DJ dates for a new set that originally premiered at Mute Mexico Festival in March this year. The set features exclusive edits and reworkings of Apparat and Moderat music, as well as music he has produced.

Originally released in 1979, Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” was the band’s first narrative concept album. Waters drew from personal history to chart the life and times of the central character, a mentally disintegrating rock star haunted by the wartime death of the father he never knew. The album’s thematic content and musical mastery, exemplified by worldwide chart-topper “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)” and radio staples “Run Like Hell” and “Comfortably Numb,” struck a chord with audiences worldwide. Columbia Records (Sony Music / Legacy) is blij de release aan te kondigen van de 2CD/3Vinyl versie van ‘Roger Waters The Wall’. De soundtrack van de gelijknamige tourfilm die deels concert / deels documentaire is. De 2CD/3LP bevat een uitgebreidere registratie van het concert (met oa een nieuw nummer). De tour - de eerste live opvoering van het album sinds 1990 - liep van 2010 tot ’13, was volledig uitverkocht en werd bijgewoond door 4,5 miljoen mensen tijdens meer dan 200 concerten (wat er de meest succesvolle tour van een solo artiest aller tijden van maakt). Het ideeëngoed achter The Wall is een nog steeds erg actueel anti-oorlogsstatement wat maakt dat steeds weer nieuwe generaties The Wall blijven ontdekken.
