Winner of the FIPRESCI prize and Promising Future Award in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes 2015, MASAAN revolves around four lives intersecting along the Ganges: a low caste boy hopelessly in love, a young woman ridden with guilt of a sexual encounter ending in a tragedy, a hapless father with a fading morality, and a spirited child yearning for a family- as they try to escape the moral constructs of small-town India.
Set against the divine landscape of Banaras, MASAAN is a celebration of Life, Death and Everything in Between.

The composition featured in the video is the album's title song. We follow the bunker survival battle of a soldier unit in the dismal post-apocalyptic world of the near future. The song reflects Simulacrum's present sound, which is heavy and progressive but without forgetting excellent melodies. The next music video "Embrace The Animal Within" will be released on the 28th of August and it represents the bands Power Metal side. Both videos are produced by Dark Noise Productions and directed by Esa Jussila.
Simulacrum can be seen live in the Autumn at the following venues:

On Saturday, March 24, 2012, Nada Surf drove into the magical city of Seattle, WA in the midst of a US tour in support of the album The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy (Barsuk) and set up their gear at the Neptune Theatre. Days before, the band’s friend and producer John Goodmanson shared some insider information with the band about the venue: he happened to know that all the microphone wires in the Neptune went into a splitter box and a whole extra set headed down to the basement, which made it a perfect venue to set up gear to record a show. Would they like him to do that? The answer was yes! So after an extra long soundcheck to make sure everything was working, they took a break, and later that night took the stage to play a long rocking set. The band recently re-listened to the show and it sounded so good that they’ve decided to make it available to their fans. It’s only their second live album, after 2004’s Live In Brussels.
“Fizzing with memorable melodies, irrepressible energy and Matther Caws’s heartfelt vocals, this 38-minute set doesn’t have a wasted moment on it.” wrote Q Magazine in praise of The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy, while The Times hailed the album as “Richly melodic and hugely rewarding.” Over the years Nada Surf have been sustained and energised by the overwhelming enthusiasm their dedicated fans continue to greet them with each time they take the stage. Live At The Neptune Theatre perfectly encapsulates and bleedsthrough with the spirit of their engaging live shows, and captures the joy they experience each time they get to step in front of an audience.

Outside of the central Star Wars movies, the only Anthology standalone in full swing is Gareth Edwards' Rogue One that's currently shooting in London. The second spinoff is said to focus on Han Solo, with Chris Miller and Phil Lord recently locked in to direct. Now, thanks to new intel from Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, we know just how far back this origin tale intends to go:
“He’ll definitely be probably in the high teens, low 20s,” Kennedy told EW. “We’re not introducing you to a 10-year-old Han Solo... I think the key here is that we are identifying an event or events in Han Solo’s life that gives you some idea of who he is and why he is the character we have all known to love."
She added: "You can imagine, given who we’ve chosen to come in and direct, it should be very entertaining and funny. Han Solo is the character inside Star Wars that everybody knows has a wit and sense of humor. So that’s what this should be."
Kennedy also volunteered some information on the third Anthology film, which is rumored to be a Boba Fett spinoff. Josh Trank was originally in line to direct, until the disastrous Fantastic Four production saw him exit the movie. That's not to say it's been put out to pasture: the current plan is to find another filmmaker to replace him.
“It’s still one of the stories that we absolutely want to tell,” says Kennedy. “There is a lot of innovative technology in and around what it is we’re doing with that story, so for a lot of reasons, we were comfortable postponing that. But we’re definitely still developing it... We’re trying to get to a point where we’re never rushing for anything.”
The third anthology film has now been yanked from its 2017 release date, although Kennedy says it's more likely pursuing a 2020 opening. Rogue One opens on December 16, 2016 with the Han Solo film slated for release on May 25, 2018.
