Storyline

A story that exposes the conspiracy of prominent German institutions and government branches to cover up the crimes of Nazis during World War II.

Billy Chainsaw says: “While re-watching Godard’s Alphaville some years ago, the thematic and visual similarities between the movie and the writings of William S. Burroughs hit me harder than a slug from a.45. The more I investigated the connections, the more apparent they became… until my journey reached a conclusion that resonates in Burroughs’ last ever written words: ‘Love? What is it? Most natural painkiller what there is. LOVE’.

The work of UK artist Billy Chainsaw, the collection of mixed media art delivers a visual cut-up of the work of author William S. Burroughs and director Jean-Luc Godard’s 1965 movie Alphaville. Chainsaw’s art sees Burroughs and Alphaville’s male protagonist, Lemmy Caution, move in and out of the fictional cities of Alphaville and Interzone (a location that features heavily in Burroughs’ writings); both conspiring to smash the shackles of control, both in search of love.

After the EP trilogy "Escape", "Hate" and "Wrong" Norway's Essence Of Mind returns with a brand new album - "The break up" - which will be out on April 10th. For their 4th album the band decided to give the buyers of the physical format, the CD, some extra tracks which will not be included on the download version of the album which can now be pre-ordered on Bandcamp (and in the next days on iTunes and Amazon too).

As a bonus the physical version of the album features the powerful melodic and 80's tainted electro rework by Technomancer of "Wrong", the dancefloor remix by Xenturion Prime of "Hate" and the exclusive mix of "The Other Side" by Vigilante.

Warner Bros. has won a bidding war for the movie rights to It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life of Love and War, a memoir by Lynsey Addario.

Jennifer Lawrence is attached to star in a package that also includes director Steven Spielberg and producer Andrew Lazar.

Addario is a war photographer who has spent time in war zones ranging from Afghanistan to the Congo to Somalia. She is one of the few females in a predominantly male club and was also at one point kidnapped.

Wynn Wygal, an exec at Lazar's Warners-based banner Mad Chance Productions, was instrumental in bringing in the book. This is the second major project to be thrown in development centering on a real-life figure to which Lawrence is attached. In January, she and her Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence boarded The Dive, the true love story of Cuban diver Francisco 'Pipin' Ferreras and the French-born diver Audrey Mestre.

Lawrence is currently shooting Joy, in which she portrays Miracle Mop inventor Joy Mangano.

Spielberg, Lazar and Warners first teamed to make American Sniper before Spielberg left the project over budgetary concerns. This look at war will be a take two.
