Today, the renowned Belgian Independent Music Festival revealed 3 more names of their already stunning line-up. It seems they managed, once again, to gather a bunch of much anticipated and rare live acts following their true BIMFEST tradition!
With these 3 newly added bands it looks like their 13th edition will be another blast!
THE FORCE DIMENSION
This legendary Dutch Electro/EBM act was signed to the Belgian cult label KK Records and released several records that nowadays are hard sought off and wanted collector items. Like the self titled album The Force Dimension and the 12"'s 'Dust' and 'Tension'. Now, after an absence of 18 years they are back, alive and kicking and with a new single expected towards the end of 2014.
This will be their first and worldwide exclusive reboot show!
COCKSURE
Cocksure is the brand new project of musical centipedes Chris Connelly (Revolting Cocks/Ministry/Pigface...) and Jason C. Novakbridge (Acumen Nation/Pigface). "With Cocksure Christopher J. Connelly and Jason C. Novakbridge bridge the gap between Wax Trax! era industrial and the future sounds of mass corruption." Their new single will feature R23 of FRont 242! Do we need to say more!?
FULL CONTACT 69
Is a spin-off from the EBM band EDRIVER 69 which came into life in 2011 when producer and vocalist Andreas Schubert wrote a few songs which didn't fit his main project EDRIVER 69. The band describes their music as ELECTRO-BREAK-INDUSTRIAL!

Paradoxx were a dark-electro, synth-pop act active in the early 2000s. With two studio albums,
a remix album and the Decade best-of, these Australians were fronted by strikingly sultry vocalist
Lissa Dix. The music was by keyboardist/guitarist Ralph E Dix. Their kinky-cyber-punk image belies
their extremely addictive and hook-filled club-friendly sound.
Tracks like “Radium Lover,” “Rocketship,” & “Submission” will appeal to fans of industrial-rockers Android Lust just as much as fans of the Euro-flavored dance-pop of Apoptygma Berzerk and early Pet Shop Boys with hints of the female vocal stylings of Client and Marsheaux. Available on Projekt: Archive for the first time in years, the full Paradoxx catalog gives listeners a new chance to discover their passionately catchy, electro synth-pop sound.
Available through the Bandcamp or iTunes-page of Projekt Records!!

Pseudo Code "The Radio's On" CD EE29 (EE Tapes)
More remains to be heard from Pseudo Code, a Belgian threesome from the early '80s making emotional electronic music.
Pseudo Code were Alain Neffe (Insane Music), Guy Marc Hinant (1/2 founder of Sub Rosa) and Xavier S. (ex-Thrills, ex-Moving Baa, vocalist extraordinaire).
What you hear is what you get: first generation Pseudo Code dated 1980/81! 'The Radio's On' sessions, after a concept by Xavier S., got eventually abandoned and shelved.
Nothing is what it seems: tracks like 'Real Action' or 'Wondering Why' (from the legendary 'Sinn & Form' compilation tape) appear to be part of much longer studio improvisations, awesome unheard sounds.
Alternative versions of '(I'm so) Clumsy' or 'No Desire'. There's a post-collaboration included with Daniel Malempré (M.A.L.) on guitars, added years later....plus other forgotten pearls to explore, as if the best wine
was kept until last!
An album not only fascinating for Pseudo Code connoisseurs, but for everyone with open ears and mind. Belgian music history with a capital H!
As few other French bands born in the early 80’s Guerre Froide has from the first note played into a post-punk / cold-wave style. Quickly the band knew how to impose its repetitive and hypnotic atmosphere, sometime aggressive, sometime mesmerizing, on which the sing comes layer lyrics full of both existentialist and poetic views, crossed by social or even political criticisms.
From the very start, for live performances, Guerre Froide choose to melt its minimalist musical universe with projections of slides or films.
Evolving from 4 to 5 members the band released a four track 7” few months before quitting after two years of life. “Demain Berlin” twenty-years-late hit, gave the band a worldwide recognition.
This ever growing fame lead two of the founding members to reanimate the band in April 2006, with the help of a new bass-player. Aim being to realize creating ambitions finally available through modern technologies, but always with the same style and musical motto of Guerre Froide.
Atmosphere gained in melancholy, means are even more sharp. An album making link between past and present, “Angoisses et divertissement” was released in May 2007. Guerre Froide has since played regularly on stage, including some festivals. A more ambitious second album “Abrutir les masses” was issued in May 2010, welcomed by many positive reviews.
Today Guerre Froide introduces its “Avant-dernière pensée”. Ten tracks recorded in Studio du bras d’or in Boulogne, used amongst other by Clair Obscur.
A new album in metallic shades of grey, words and sounds clash, lucid and cold. Resignation is still not on today’s schedule.
