Neonsol is a Danish/Canadian project made up of three members: Nina Io and Jesper Io - both handling live synths and vocals, lyrics and melodies, and Frédéric Scarfone, well known for his work with Memmaker, Iszoloscope and Norad handling production, sound design, live drums/effects, and additional song-writing.
Neonsol began life in Copenhagen in 2009 with Nina and Jesper writing and performing the band’s early tracks. The duo made their first stage appearance in Trondheim, Norway in August 2010 being joined in 2012 by Frédéric to complete their lineup. They premiered live as a three-piece in Copenhagen at the Cyberworld XX album release party in October 2012 and in April 2013, the band played their second Danish live show at the prestigious Club Braincorp's 8 Year Anniversary event alongside Nachtmahr, ESA and Skyla Vertex.
Featuring Nina’s distinctive and hypnotic vocals, thoughtful lyrics and well-crafted production work, the band’s music is best described as dreamy, dark and melodic electro that fuses diverse elements of industrial, synthpop, EBM and numerous other genres to create the Neonsol sound.
In 2014, Neonsol debut with their single release Citadel via Manchester-based independent label AnalogueTrash Records, ahead of their upcoming album Ecliptic released this autumn. Featuring the original mix of the track and an exclusive remix by legendary Danish artist Leaether Strip, Citadel is a powerful and contemporary slice of electronica that we’re confident you're going to love.
The True Detective Season 2 rumor mill has churned out another name: Vince Vaughn.
According to TVLine Vaughn is in preliminary talks to play one of the three leads in the HBO drama’s upcoming second season.
In mid-July, word spread that Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch are reportedly in serious discussions for two of the season’s lead roles, while series creator Nic Pizzolatto has said that the new season will be set in California and feature “four central roles.”

SYNOPSIS
