Borderlands is een donker, adembenemend intens horror meesterwerk, en vormt een spannende mix tussen horrorklassiekers The Exorcist en The Conjuring.

Een groep van specialisten uit het Vaticaan wordt naar een afgelegen kerk in Engeland gestuurd vanwege mysterieuze gebeurtenissen in het gebied. Hoewel Vader Crellick videobeelden heeft van items in de kerk die blijkbaar verplaatst worden door bovennatuurlijke krachten, willen de van nature sceptische Deacon en pater Mark Amidon sluitend bewijs hebben.

A couple are driving home to their kids when their car runs out of gas just as the Purge commences. Meanwhile, Leo goes out into the streets to get revenge on the man who killed his son, and a mother and daughter run from their home after assailants destroy it. The five people meet up as they attempt to survive the night in Los Angeles.

SYNOPSIS:
Theodore is a lonely man in the final stages of his divorce. When he's not working as a letter writer, his down time is spent playing video games and occasionally hanging out with friends. He decides to purchase the new OS1, which is advertised as the world's first artificially intelligent operating system, "It's not just an operating system, it's a consciousness," the ad states. Theodore quickly finds himself drawn in with Samantha, the voice behind his OS1. As they start spending time together they grow closer and closer and eventually find themselves in love. Having fallen in love with his OS, Theodore finds himself dealing with feelings of both great joy and doubt. As an OS, Samantha has powerful intelligence that she uses to help Theodore in ways others hadn't, but how does she help him deal with his inner conflict of being in love with an OS?

SYNOPSIS:

HER gaat over Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix) , een complex en gevoelig man die zijn geld verdient door middel van schrijven van persoonlijke en liefdevolle brieven in opdracht van andere mensen. The Belgian Journalist/Music-Promoter Annik Honoré, who was the paramour of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis, has died at the age of 56 this Thursday, July 3, following a serious illness. This has been confirmed via close family. 

Honoré was born in Belgium on 12 October 1957. As a teenager she became interested in rock music, attending various concerts in London as well as other locations. She moved to London in 1979, taking a job as a secretary at the Belgian Embassy.

In late 1979, Honoré and journalist Michel Duval began promoting musical performances at the Plan K venue in Brussels. Joy Division, and two other groups performed on the club's opening night on 16 October. A few months later, in 1980, Honoré and Duval founded Factory Benelux as a Continental offshoot of Factory Records as well as Les Disques du Crépuscule, an independent Belgian music label.

According to Honoré in a 2010 interview, her relationship with Ian Curtis before his death in 1980 was entirely platonic. Curtis' widow, Deborah Curtis has characterised the relationship as an "affair", which she claims began in August 1979.

Honoré left the music business in the mid-1980s and afterwards worked for the EU in Brussels.

Summary: Season four picks up in 1924 and Nucky has new problems in the form of Valentin Narcisse (Jeffrey Wright) and FBI Agent Loren Knox (Brian Geraghty). Patricia Arquette joins the cast as a speakeasy owner named Sally Wheet.

Atlantic City, February 1924: After barely surviving an overthrow by gangster Gyp Rossetti, Nucky Thompson (Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Steve Buscemi) is laying low at the end of the Boardwalk. But the calm will be short-lived, as Nucky faces new challenges, including a clash with the mayor, a battle with his brother Eli (Shea Whigham) over Elis college-age son, and the irresistible lure of lucrative and perilous opportunities in Florida.

In the first episode of the fourth season, Nucky makes a peace offering to Joe Masseria (Ivo Nandi) while working the odds with Arnold Rothstein (Michael Stuhlbarg). While Chalky (Michael Kenneth Williams) is busy running the Onyx Club on the Boardwalk, the impulsive Dunn Purnsley (Erik LaRay Harvey) clashes with a booking agent. Gillian (Gretchen Mol) seeks custody of her grandson while trying to find a good man to keep the Artemis Club afloat. Al Capone (Stephen Graham) enlists his brothers to help him expand his business in the Chicago suburb of Cicero, while Richard Harrow (Jack Huston) returns to his violent ways.

Boardwalk Empire also stars Kelly Macdonald as Margaret, Nuckys estranged wife; Michael Shannon as former Federal Agent Nelson Van Alden, caught up in gangland conflicts; Vincent Piazza as gangster Lucky Luciano; Paul Sparks as Mickey Doyle, head of Nuckys bootlegging operation; and Anthony Laciura as Eddie Kessler, Nuckys longtime valet.

SYNOPSIS

Het vierde seizoen herneemt de verhaallijnen zowat acht maanden na het einde van seizoen 3, meer bepaald in februari 1924, het jaar waarin jazz "voor het eerst echt zijn stempel wist te drukken" en het uitgaansleven op en neer deinde als de alomtegenwoordige Charleston.

Nadat hij ternauwernood een machtsgreep van Gyp Rossetti overleefde, probeert Nucky Thompson zich aan het begin van seizoen 4 gedeisd te houden. Al snel ligt hij echter weer overhoop met Burgemeester Bader, gaat hij in de clinch met zijn broer Eli over het lot van diens jongvolwassen zoon Willie, en zet hij zijn zinnen op een lucratieve landinvestering in Tampa.
