After their massive album release "Harsh Generation" and last year’s EP "Chemicals & Circuitry", Netherlands based GRENDEL finally return with their all new studio album "Timewave Zero", another milestone in the electro scene showing that they are one of Europe’s finest! 9 all new (and a 2012 remake of the hit ‘Chemicals and Circuitry’) brutal tracks of uncompromisingly harsh EBM and electronics! Distorted vocals, acidic synth lines, pummeling bass-lines, and jagged melodies streamline the release to make it the most addictive Grendel assault to date. Get your adrenaline flowing!
As with the previous album ‘Harsh Generation’, also ‘Timewave Zero’ will be available in a strictly limited, special Digipak Double-CD edition.
The exclusive, full-length bonus-CD features additional 15 tracks: Massive remixes by Acts such as AESTHETIC PERFECTION, SIVA SIX, MANUFACTURA, MODULATE, SHIV-R, TERROLOKAUST and more.

Originally formed in Holland in 1983 as Xymox, Clan of Xymox became one of the pioneers of the dark and moody electronic music that later became known as darkwave. They released one mini-album, 'Subsequent Pleasures', as Xymox, then released two albums and a number of singles on 4AD as Clan of Xymox. They shortened their name to Xymox again in 1988 and signed to a subsidiary of Polygram. Their releases as Xymox were in a more synthpop/dance music vein. The Xymox era ended in 1997 when, in the midst of a revival in the gothic scene, Ronny Moorings made the decision to restart Clan of Xymox and return to his musical roots. Since then, the band has released a series of critically acclaimed albums.
