De Vlaamse Opera (The Flemish Opera) will have a special gothic day on the occasion of the premiere of La Forza del Destino (Verdi). The day will have special sceneries bases on stories by Edgar Allan Poe, a singing course by Sigrid Hausen (Qntal / Estampie) & a special live performace with new wave classics & fragments of La Forza.
Wander into the darkest corridors of the Flemish Opera and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of "The Mask of Red Death" (by Edgar Allan Poe).
Workshop medieval singing with Sigrid Hausen
Mezzo-soprano Sigrid Hausen specializes in bringing early music for years and gives singing lessons to beginners and advanced. She has been performing for 15 years with medieval music as a front singer of the successful German group Estampie. In addition, she sings in the electro-medieval band Qntal. Together with a capella group VocaMe she will bring some Byzantine chants.
