Peek-A-Boo likes new music. We know the list is endless, but still worth checking out....of course it's music!
What about Svarta Stugan perhaps?
According to Henrik this Swedish band is like a mix between Godspeed You! Black Emperor with the sounds from the tv-series Twin Peaks.
Recently the band released a new EP: "EP2: A mutation and a madness".
The single from the Ep, a song called Second Attempt. You can listen to it here.

Apart from that, Lumière will also release Jimmy P. on DVD.
Jimmy P. or Psychotherapy of a Plains Indian tells the story of Blackfoot Indian Jimmy Picard (Benicio Del Toro) who has been examined by French anthropologist Georges Devereux (Mathieu Amalric).
Both to its style and subject, this movie by Arnaud Desplechin has been often compared to David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method.
You might remember the name of Johan Troch, the DIY-musician we were interviewing some months ago, the creator of perfect soundscapes.
Johan has currently a new project out along with Peter Every and which better way there than letting him do the explanation....
Peter Every runs his own small recording studio (Neophyte Recordings) in Coventry UK.
Peter and I have found each other through Facebook.
I like the spirit and soul of Peter's fancy music environment.
And we also share the same policy about releasing our music via the internet, for a very small donation. (downloaders can choose: free, or with a donation they choose by themselves)
It took not to long, before we were fans of each other's music.
Playfully I experimented with Peter's music, by putting vocals or guitar, on a few of his compositions.
I sent him those versions via mail, and with minor modifications, remixed and remastered versions by Peter.
So far we have only done a couple of tracks, but it feels good, this cooperation.
I can already tell you that Peter Every is one so far, an unknown artist. But I do hope, he still breaks through in the UK and the rest of the globe.
He is very multifaceted as a musician and producer.
Peter is also working together with guitar-player Matt Backer (USA) who toured with Julian Lennon.
It's a small world indeed.

Little Nemo was born in 1983 as the result of the musical encounter between Olivier Champeau and Vincent Gallo in the Paris area. The name stems from Windsor McCay's comic strip, dating back to the early 20th century and telling the oniric adventures of a little boy during his sleep. That sets the tone for the many arty references in the group's history. The duet asserts this psychedelic ascent while quoting Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd as their influence. Their music mixing keyboards (mainly Olivier), a drum machine and guitar/bass by Vincent is influenced by the new wave of Cure and Joy Division, as well as by the French groups Taxi Girl and Marquis de Sade.
PAST & FUTURE was originally self-produced and self-distributed by the band on his own label Artefact, as a limited edition of 500 cassettes, released in June 1987. It was sold out in a few months. The tape is meant to be conceptual.
Out on vinyl for the very first time, these original recordings were produced by the band on a 4-track cassette deck in 86-87, except track A2, recorded on a 8-track tape recorder at 8PM Studio in Lyon (march 87).
Danish topseries Unite One featuring Mads Mikkelsen out in January on Arrow.
Following the massive success of their Bafta winning series The Killing and Borgen, and the newly Bafta nominated series’ The Bridge, Arrow Film’s Nordic Noir label are pleased to announce the release of UNIT ONE: SERIES THREE
With an overwhelming response to the season one and two releases earlier this year, Arrow Films’ Nordic Noir label is pleased to announce the UK DVD box set debut of UNIT ONE: SERIES THREE on Monday 6th January 2014.
Based on actual, real-life Danish crimes which have occurred across the last 2 decades, the International Emmy award winning UNIT ONE is one of the hardest hitting of the Scandi-crime series. It follows an elite mobile police force, referred to as a flying squad, as they are dispatched to assist local police in solving some of the most complex and high profile cases Denmark has ever bore witness to.
Starring alongside Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal, The Hunt, Casino Royale, Pusher), who won the Best Actor Award at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, are some of Denmark’s brightest and best-loved actors, as seen on UK screens in The Killing, Borgen and Wallander.
Exhilarating and fast-paced, we follow the fascinating and dangerous world of the UNIT ONE squad as they immerse themselves in the Danish underworld. Prepare to be thrilled by their commitment and affectionate solidarity, yet puzzled by the often horrifying examples of human nature they face in their day-to-day work.
UNIT ONE asks many questions of the heroes and heroines portrayed in the show, such as what happens to those in real life who have chosen a career such as the ones portrayed in the series? A member of the flying squad is away from home 230 days a year, can a marriage and a family cope with that? What qualifications? What dedication? What kind of team spirit do these men and women possess in order to achieve one of the highest success rates in the world?
Following their success with the likes of The Killing, Borgen, and The Bridge, Arrow continue to strive in bringing UK viewers the very best in Scandinavian television via their Nordic Noir label. While the aforementioned titles all aired on BBC4 prior to their box set releases, Arrow have also enjoyed acclaim for bringing never-before-seen Nordic shows directly to UK living rooms via the home entertainments market.
Their passion and excitement for the genre found Arrow looking further into the Nordic catalogue and it was there that they discovered an array of fantastic, high quality shows, crying out for a new audience.
In addition to UNIT ONE, 2013 has seen the Nordic Noir label release The Accused starring Sofie Gråbøl , Above The Street Below The Water, starring Sidse Babett Knudsen, The Protectors and Van Veeteren direct to UK fans via DVD and Digital Download; all of which have been received exceptionally well.
