The living legend returns! Finally, 5 years after his latest all new solo album ‘Kontinuum’, the master of electronics Klaus Schulze is back with the new studio album by the world’s true trailblazer of Ambient!
(excerpt from the liner notes, written by Christopher von Deylen (SCHILLER – famous act in Germany):) Dear Klaus, your music walks with me since I first started to feel music. without your sequences and loops, the world would be flat. the depth that resides in your sounds, it touches and gives hope. you have researched, in- spired, tried and dismissed – and found your way. your unmatched way to approach the sounds, to just let them happen… what a feast for the senses. you are true to yourself, you are defying the flavour of the month, you stay with yourself. Your new oeuvre ‘Shadowlands” shows us how passionately you are walking this way, your way.
With open eyes, determined and empathic at the same time. listeni! ng to your music is always an experience of its own. when you are within the walls of your studio, you are right within your quintessential element. nothing could stop you. you are always following the path of your own intuitions. Dear Klaus, listening to your sounds, knowing you, is an honour. we are glad that you are here. -Christopher von Deylen Berlin, oct. 2012
Ultra rare 12” release from ULTERIOR, the British band that first came to fame by touring extensively (and with a lot of success!) as support act for THE SISTERS OF MERCY.
Their album ‘Wild in Wildlife’ not only received high praise and enthusiasm by the British and international press, it was also a great selling release.
This 12” was the second output by the talented act, released in 2008 on ‘Disc Error Recordings’ and is a real collector’s item. On discogs for instance, there’s only ONE copy for sale and at not less than € 99.00! None of the 3 tracks on this 12” has been included in the band’s debut album and remained exclusive to this Vinyl-only release!
The 12” comes in Black and White sleeve (printed black inside!), with black inner sleeve and runs at 33 1/3 RPM.
The Berlin- and Düsseldorf based Electropop act SLAVE REPUBLIC will present an all new Longplayer in January. The band has been touring extensively since 2010 with bands such as De/Vision, Diorama and Diary of Dreams and promise to deliver a mature and strong follow-up to their debut album ‘Electric One’ from 2010
After the incredible success of the ‘Cantar a la Morte’ re-release, ITM and Ordo Funebris were working hard on a re-release of the second, long deleted album from 2004!
The CD is not just coming in an ‘average’ digipak, but in a super deluxe, heavy card duty 8 pannels Digipak. Every copy ordered will be delivered with a (folded) 60x40 cms-sized Poster and sticker!
SONGS FROM THE ENCHANTED GARDEN is inspired by the night...the dark begetter, the sweet embrace of death, the eternal whisper of the wind, the sadness in its silent hands, thosen magical forests that adorn the soul, the sea and its profound lament.
A powerful blend of dreamy, medieval ambience with occasional percussive, symphonic moments, and featuring subtle Celtic influences throughout.
