The first exhibition of punk's visual expressions in Europe!
Remember punk and those rebellious images of fashion and anarchic pop movement? More than 30 years after its birth, a major travelling exhibition is reviving those memories with Europunk. The Punk cultural vision in Europe during the years 1976-1980. It arrives in Belgium after shows in Geneva and Rome with some 500 items from the explosive and aggressive era: clothes, posters, drawings, fanzines, album covers, collages and films. Curator Eric de Chassey of Rome’s Academy of France presents punk culture as being highly influential in new avant-garde artistic movements by showcasing the work of artists and graphic designers. While punk music and fashion swept through Europe and the United States, its visual repercussions were less obvious but contributed to an interconnecting cultural web. The exhibition, which is divided into eight sections, opens with the Sex Pistols’ TV debut as the British band launched the anti-establishment movement and new ‘youth’ culture. Wednesdays to Sundays.
It took the band 7 years to complete their new studio album "Dédale" and today Aiboforcen knock again on your door with a nice pre-Christmas present: the exclusive digital-only 12-track album "L'Errance" on which the Belgian act reveals an extended mix of their recent U2 cover, but also a reprise of Joy Division's "She's Lost Control" with Claus Kruse of PNE as lead singer.

Portrait Bizarre releases new album 'A New day' on Minimal/Maximal Records!
After releasing the split-single with Red Zebra in May earlier this year, and the preliminary I-tunes single ‘Genesis (Good Things Come To An End)’, Portrait Bizarre now will be releasing their first full album “A New Day” ever.
The album will be released on December 7th by the Belgian vinyl only label Minimal >< Maximal (subdivision of Daft Records) on 520 hand numbered copies.
Portrait Bizarre will present their new album live at the 10th edition of the renowned Belgian Independent Music (BIMFEST 2011) in Antwerp.
12 December will see the release of the 1-track single "Imhotep" a track previously available as a bonustrack for fans only.
With this single Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble Of Shadows are attending to a chapter from their 2004 album "La Chambre d'Echo" and use this radical revision to transform an almost entirely electronic song into a dramatic, chamber-music danse macabre.
Reduced to the bare bones, only accompanied by percussion, a death-bell and two string-players, the fabulously eerie Saint-Varney-of-the-Dead is singing a sad lament of suffering and pain, and demonstrates once again that Sopor Aeternus & The Ensemble Of Shadows are still entirely beyond comparison.
Available as a 1-track CD-single (limited to 407 copies for shops) and a one-side vinyl 12" (limited to 307 copies for shops) on 16 December.
The vinyl version comes as classy black 12" vinyl (160g) in cardboard box with elaborate (laser-engraved) etching on the B-side, printed inner sleeves and hand-numbered by Anna-Varney Cantodea.
