Of all scene-related festivals taking place in Germany, the Amphi Festival, located at the scenic banks of the river Rhine, at the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne, is one of the most popular, with tickets being sold out weeks prior in previous years.
As usual, this year’s festival line up features some of the biggest names in the scene.
This sampler will be released at Out Of Line and will be released at 15th July 2010.

Moby announces the release of his new single Lie Down In Darkness, out August 15th.
Taken from his most recent studio album Destroyed andself-releasedon Moby’s very ownlabel Little Idiot. The track Lie Down In Darkness (which takes its title from William Styron’s strange dark novel of the same name) and accompanying remix bundle will be made available as a download only.
The full remix bundle includes the original album version along with an array of remixes including, among others, Photek, Michael Mayer and Paul Van Dyke.
Moby’s next UK live appearance will be on July 31st at The Roundhouse in Camden, where he is set to close this year’s iTunes Festival. This date follows his recent sold out show at the same venue. To win tickets for this event, go here.
Moby will also be making an appearance at the Apple Store, Regent Street on August 1st for a special event, where he will talk about his photography and how his photo book Destroyed came together.
Moby’s Destroyed photo exhibition, which features selected images from his book, is currently touringEurope, having recently closed a successful run at The Proud Gallery in London.
In Belgium Moby will be back to rock the roof off the Suikerrock festival in Tienen on July 30th.
The very fine French label Prikosnovenie informs us about three releases that soon will be out.
NARSILION: "Elenna Nore", their 3rd and most fantastic album with Arcana participation.
TROBAR DE MORTE: "Beyond the woods" , all acoustic tracks with a new harpist.
LES MARIE-MORGANE: "Awena", French celtic music.

“Dancing on the Berlin wall EP” is the new release by those pioneers of synthesizer-based pop music, Rational Youth. Their 1982 album COLD WAR NIGHT LIFE is a cornerstone classic of the Electro-Pop genre.
The new EP features brand new recordings of the classic song never before issued as a single in the 80's.
This time in English, in German, in PURE and EURO Dance versions, including an 80's style New Wave extended dance mix. Added to that, the original version to round out the 6 track package. The EP was produced by Tracy Howe and Bill Vorn, the original 1981 duo and mixed & mastered by renowned Montreal producer, Jean Pierre Isaac.
Dancing On The Berlin Wall will be followed by an all new Coboloid Race and then, secondly, some re-issues of the classics including a 180 gram 30th anniversary special edition vinyl COLD WAR NIGHT LIFE, and a new HISTORY OF multiple CD compilation covering 1981- 2011, the entire story.
Peek-A-Boo alread informed you that Gary Numan is working on his new album.
Those who are interested in his latest stuf (who isn’t?) can hear a new track, “The Fall” on Artrocker Magazine. The synth legend gave Artrocker the world exclusive premiere of his first material ever to be heard as he’s on the cover of the magazine (see photo).
This version is a two minute twenty mix of the track which will appear in full on the album.
