Beirut release their first album in four years with The Rip Tide on 29th August.

The Rip Tide will be released internationally and independently on Pompeii Records, a label started, and wholly owned by Condon with no large label affiliation whatsoever, so as to keep total creative control.

Retriever are the dark underbelly of the Newcastle music scene.
Described as a frenzy of thick fuzz-bass, jagged reverb laden guitar, cutting drum-machine beats and screeching feedback topped with a slice of bitter female vocal.
Yeah, we know...but then again, it's the kind of formula that makes Peek-A-Boo say yeah!
Retriever played support slots for The Slits, These New Puritans, Dum Dum Girls, Crocodiles and Yuck among others.
This cd will be released by Desire Records, the label that brought you Kasms, Project:Komakino and //TENSE// to name a few.
Desire will be releasing a limited number of 300 12" vinyl copies along with downloads available.
The French Infrastition-label announced their new releases to come and it's a bloody fantastic!
