SkyQode is proud to present "Trance It", a fascinating debut album from the Mexican trance project Kromak!
Kromak is a new side-project formed in 2013 by Markko, who is better known as the mastermind of the Mexican dark electro beast, C-Lekktor, as well as the TBM / Power Noise machine, Circuito Cerrado.
With Kromak Marrko strays from the beaten path of industrial and seeks to explore the vast territories of trance music. This is something he has never done before with his other projects. It's quite obvious that with such a wealth of music production experience, he is going to deliver a kind of album devoid of the shortcomings usual in a debut work.
"Trance It" is a versatile and well-crafted album offering a mesmerizing journey through the realms of progressive and psychedelic sounds filled with dark vibes and uplifting energies. Mastered by Jan L at his renowned X-Fusion Music Production studio, the album delivers nothing short of a sonic delight.

Mannequin Records escavation into the archives of the Italian minimal synth of the early 80’s continues. This time we are deeply honored to present the 1982-1983 demos tapes of Turin’s Monuments, who released in 1984 their only official mini-LP “Age”, comprising six incredibly fantastic electro-pop tracks, which was already reissued by Mannequin back in 2013.
The Monuments came into being in January 1981 in Turin when Mauro Tavella (keyboards, programming) and Andrea Costa (keyboards, voice) pooled their artistic experiences. From the outset, they produced exclusively synthesized music, following the natural evolution in electronic music from the early days with monophonic synthesizers to the latest virtual sounds generated with the aid of computers.
Most of the tracks have been composed between the summer and autumn of 1982 in their own private recording studio TKS in Turin. Some they were made at the beginning of 1983 but only a song, “Clock's room”, was later arranged and entered fully into the mini-lp “Age”.

First 250 copies will be released as a double LP edition, with the add of the ‘Punk Tape’ LP, previously released on cassette by Runstate. The second LP contains covers of Chron Gen, Reagan Youth, The Headcoatees, Trotskids, Antisect, Anti-Cimex, Rudimentari Peni and Ludwig Von 88.
Montréal synth punk quartet Police Des Moeurs returns on Mannequin Records with a brand new full length entitled “Ceux Qui Restent”, the most dynamic and incendiary record of the group’s career, following the highly-acclaimed self-titled release from 2013.
While the first effort was mostly about how we're all separate from each others, the second one is all about to getting over it and trying to fight it. As vocalist and synth player Francis Dugas explains: “most of the new LP is about links, love and caring (in PDM style, obviously). The title is «Ceux qui restent», which means «Those who stay» or something like that. Ceux qui vivent la tempête jusqu'au bout.”
Still raw, but more direct and minimal than first LP, two tracks feature Pete from Dekoder on bass guitar.

After their critically well-received Spring release Model Generation, which was put out by Slovenian-based independent label KAPA Records, the band played most of the biggest European music festivals (Liverpool Sound City, Inmusic, Exit itd.), but it was Slovenian's MENT Ljubljana where they made their big break.
They caught the eye of the legendary musician and journalist John Robb, who did the first big interview with Nirvana in 1989 and forged the phrase »britpop«. Robb named Ludovik Material as his new favourite band. »They sound quite fantastic and their youthful take on the post punk interzone is one of the best I’ve heard for years,« he wrote in Louder Than War. And now, John Robb digitally released Ludoviks's single on Louder Than War's label.
