It's the summer of 1984 - Margaret Thatcher cease to power and the British miners union. During Gay Pride in London, a group decides to raise money homosexual activists to support the families of the striking miners. But they run into a problem: the union seems embarrassed to receive their support.
However, the protesters have not hit their lead. They decide to ignore the union and to approach the miners directly. They pull into a small van to a mining village in rural Wales to hand over their donation personally.
An extraordinary tale of two very different communities , despite all prejudices, unite for a common goal.

Blutengel “Sing.” Sensual, enticing, sexy – on the monumental dark-Pop-single “Sing,” Blutengel lure the listener into mesmerizing worlds of erotically-tinged mysticism.
“Sing!” When sacred choirs tingle the skin, gripping tribal rhythms stir up the blood, Chris Pohl's soothingly deep voice sings alluring accounts of the dark sides of love and lust and Blutengel's miniature epic climaxes in a gigantically anthemic chorus, there is no way resisting this maelstrom of seduction and sweet melancholy. On the new single, the Berlin-based hit-wonder plays to all his strengths and takes the listener into a sensual world of atmospheric Gothic-elements, powerful electronic sounds and darkly-tinged Art-Pop. “Sing” is exciting, sinister and new, while still retaining the trademark Blutengel-feeling – a bittersweet appetizer for new album “Omen”, due for release in February. The MCD contains the title song plus two exclusive remixes (including an alchemusical interpretation from Meinhard, who will be supporting Blutengel on his “Omen”-tour in the Spring of 2015) and the new song “Starkeeper” in an exclusive single edit. This is Gothic Pop!

“The Cross (Croce) will be the next step in Father Murphy's path and the concept behind the new Father Murphy’s album.
It was time for Father Murphy to measure with such a symbol.
“It's all about Sacrifice and Beatitude, dear C. Lee and Rev. freddie.”
This is the artist statement behind Calvary by Father Murphy. Not music as such, but a short piece of sound art - a musique concrete tone poem figuratively depicting the execution place of Dismas, Gestas and Jesus of Nazareth.
The sound is collaged from the sounds of wood being cut up and built into a cross, with percussion sounds recorded at the Holy Friday Procession in Ceske Budejovice, Czechoslovakia, and the banging of metal constructs in a children’s park in Stockholm.
The vocals and other audio elements were recorded variously in a backyard in Brooklyn, a mansion in Joshua Tree, a cave in San Francisco, and on the Pyramid of The Moon in Teotihuacan, Mexico. Calvary features a guest appearance by Ezra Buchla on viola (formerly of Gowns and heir to the Buchla synth dynasty).
Father Murphy have toured and collaborated with the likes of Xiu Xiu and Swans. Their previous release - Pain Is On Our Side Now - challenged the listener to engage creatively with the sound they are experiencing by presenting the audio across four sides of vinyl, any two of which are required to be played simultaneously.
The duo’s own description of their sound is “Father Murphy is the sound of the Catholic sense of Guilt. A downward spiral aiming at the bottom of the hollow, and then digging even deeper.”
