Autumn 2010, Madrid is about to experience the birth of something exceptional: October People have their self-produced debut album ready and two years later they reveal it via Rumble Records in October to underline their music with the month through a course of eight unfolding songs which carry the listener away into a dreamy and nostalgic world. Influenced by Ray Bradbury and Edgar Allen Poe as well as, bands such as Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, The Chameleons, Jesus and the Mary Chain, October People came to leave their mark on the music scene.
As a special gift, October People choose to release their debut album on vinyl to highlight the congeniality of their music and evoke nostalgia by listening to these wonderful, melancholic songs on the record player. While working on their first video clip, the band decides to bring their debut album to a broad audience by joining the afmusic-family and re-releasing their self-titled debut album. Next to the video clip an EP is also scheduled, building the bridge between the first and the upcoming album.
October People’s self-titled debut album will be available from 18.10.2013 in every well-known store and on afmusic, on vinyl as well as on CD.

Italian’s dark outfit DISMAL will release their new album, 'Giostra di Vapore', onDecember 9, 2013 via Aural Music/Dreamcell11.
'Giostra di vapore' is the new gothic fairy tale by DISMAL. A band’s maturation leading to an evolution of the style introducing victorian steampunk atmospheres. Music which produced the mind’s theater between times of waltz and tango. The musical structure, as in Gothic architecture, plays on thin emotional balances between electronics and orchestrations. An introspective concept which blends the present, the ancient and the future. The effort will be available on cd and by digital download.
Italian Dark Ensemble DISMAL is back after 6 years of silence. After some line-up changes the band went into Punto.rec.studio in Turin, italy, to record their new album titled “Giostra di Vapore”. Mastermind and composer Bradac says:
“the new album will be the natural evolution of “Miele Dal Salice”, we recorded more than 50 minutes of dark emotional music, mixing classical passages and electronic sounds, with our usual eerie atmosphere. The Lyrical Concept is based on the “waltz of the mind” mixing Philosophy with Alchemy and Social Psychology”
IDM. Intelligent Dance Music. It might very well be the most loathed name for a musical genre ever. The name suggests rationally conceived music, or even music that contains no emotion. The two musicians behind Hydrus have a quite cerebral way of working alright. They program their own patches for electronic software and they love to work on their sounds endlessly. We were told they once tweaked the sound of a hi-hat for one whole week. Hydrus are obsessed with giving each of their sounds the room it needs, the right place in their music. They know how to isolate it or let the different sounds talk to each other. The end result is a graceful musical environment of their own.
On their early releases for Narrominded, their style was in line with IDM-icons like Plaid and Autechre. But Hydrus are slowly - it's almost ten years since their debut release, a split lp with Kettel - finding their own sound. On Nodes, they incorporate a tad of electronic jazz and deep dubby basses. Highlight is Micronaut, an emotional electronic track that goes straight to the heart. That's what Hydrus can do with technology.
