Passion was the closing film on the edition of the Filmfestival of Ghent.
The newest thriller from the master that gathers bother Noomi Rapace and Rachel McAdams is as good as Body Double and Dressed To Kill or to say it in other words: a film that will haunt you from the first to the last second.
Lumière informs us that Passion will be in the theatres from 13th February. Unmissable.

Met Rachel MCADAMS ('The Notebook', 'Midnight in Paris'), Noomi RAPACE ('Prometheus', 'Millennium') en Karoline HERFURTH ('Perfume', 'The Reader')

Their top-quality debut album sent a shockwave through the Electronic Body Music scene, and got them the recognition as the "best pure EBM discovery" made by Belgium's Alfa Matrix label... Today, our favourite Norwegian electroheads return with their new studio album "Father Worked In Industry" which was mixed and mastered by none other than Claus Larsen of LEAETHER STRIP. Starting with a song entitled "We Are Still Kant Kino", all we can say is that the KANT KINO boys' sound has matured a lot revealing impressive song-writing skills and a top notch recording approach. While gaining in force and power, their straight EBM sound shines through carrying synthetic melodies and elaborate vocal arrangements.
The stomping beats, the rough edged sound, and the angry vocals are still there. But, the intelligent addition of clear and vocoder vocals as well as some guest female vocalists, and the injection of wider influences from techno/electro to even pop/rock in the song structures! , all contribute to give a much stronger focus on catchy choruses and melodies in their characteristic EBM / Dark Electronics musical equation. KANT KINO even dared writing a seductive industrial waltz with the unique "Ich Liebe Katarina Witt" as well as covering the classic "Warm Leaetherette" with Claus Larsen on vocals... "
Father Worked In Industry" is a non-stop hit-machine that will reconcile all true EBM-fans and hardcore followers of bands like FRONT 242, AND ONE, NITZER EBB, ICON OF COIL, etc. All united marching behind the Norwegian duo, cos we are now ALL KANT KINO...
The album is also released as a deluxe carton box edition with the exclusive 16-track bonus album "Now The Work Has Moved On" including an eclectic selection of remixes and remakes going from metal from Anders Odden (Satyricon, Apoptygma Berzerk, etc) and hard electronics from Gothminister, to hard hitting TBM by Elec This!, high-tech electro by Aesthetische or yet Dubstep from Essence of Mind.! Also featured: a couple of reworks by KANT KINO themselves (with an i mpressive symphonic mix of the floating "Just For The Comfort Of Sleep") as well as exciting new interpretations of KANT KINO songs with vocals from Leaether Strip and Sudeten Creshe.
Factory Benelux presents Dark Light, the brand new album by post-punk trailblazers Section 25, Factory workers since 1979.
Recorded in 2012, Dark Light is their first collection of new material since the tragic loss of founder Larry Cassidy in 2010, and marks a return to the smooth electro and synth-pop textures first explored on their seminal 1984 album From the Hip. These echoes are amplified by the presence of co-vocalists Beth and Jo Cassidy, and a sublime cover image by iconic artist/designer Peter Saville.
Much of Dark Light was produced in collaboration with remixer Derek Miller (aka Outernationale), and includes new versions of recent single tracks Colour Movement Sex & Violence and Inner Drive. Other stand-out cuts include future pop classic My Outrage, which will also be made available as a limited edition 7” single (7 FBN 62) to mark World Record Store Day in April 2013. There are also two hidden tracks.
Section 25 are: Vin Cassidy, Bethany Cassidy, Steve Stringer, Stuart Hill and Joanna Cassidy. “Metamorphosing from the glummest, most dour group ever into progenitors of House, Blackpool’s SXXV are, inevitably, one of the groups of this very post-punk moment” (Chris Bohn, The Wire magazine)
Past tense, future perfect.
