The Icelandic band Hugar is a duet formed by Bergur Þórisson & Pétur Jónsson. They have been playing together for many years in all kinds of different bands but in early 2012 they decided to go ahead and form a group of their own to experiment and take a personal direction in music. (Bergur is part of the live band of Ólafur Arnalds)
Their intriguing music can be described as a mixture of neo-classical, ambient & post-rock.
The first video of their debut album was just released & can be viewed down below.

Auditory alchemist Blue Stahli sends us premonitions of an impending sonic assault bearing down on the unsuspecting public. Your skull will shake and your speakers will tremble as the next chapter of The Devil is revealed right before our eyes.
Watch as the madness unfold as we glimpse into an 8-bit Apocalypse strung about with unidentified assailants and creatures born from the dark corners of nightmares. The only advice we have been given is to Ready, Aim and Fire.
Blue Stahli's forthcoming sophomore album, The Devil, gathers more steam with Chapter 02, which builds on the bullrush sonics of Chapter 01. The first single Ready, Aim, Fire epitomizes the aggressive yet melodic nature of Blue Stahli's work, combing the combative temperment of guitar driven rock with the precision and clarity of electronic production. Blue Stahli produdly debuts his latest lyric video for Ready, Aim, Fire which serves as the narration to a retro fitted galatic battle.
Los Angeles / London based gothic rock band Die So Fluid have released the official music video for their track "Black Blizzard" directed by David Kenny. The track is from the band's upcoming album which will be released in the U.S. later this year. Watch for Die So Fluid on tour in the U.S. this fall. Die So Fluid are the modern incarnation of a ‘power trio’. Their sonic being possesses the muscle of metal, the angular cheekbones of post-punk, and the burning soul of vampiric desert torch song.
Black Blizzard was inspired by the Dust Bowl tragedy of the 1930s. It's referred to as a natural disaster but it was caused by man. Nature is wild and untamable, and my character in the video is the storm personified-bringing wrath after she has been abused and disrespected. - Grog (Die So Fluid)

Next week, 30th of July to be precise, Universal has the honour to say that Twin Peaks has been put out on Blu-ray in a completely restored version.
Here you can find all details.
In the meantime Variety reported that David Lynch organised a Twin Peaks-reunion at Silver Lake’s Vista Theater.
“Twin Peaks — The Entire Mystery” contains almost 90 minutes of outtakes and deleted scenes from 1992′s “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me” that has been compiled into to nearly an entire new movie’s worth of material that answers a few questions left hanging in the feature film capper to the cult classic TV series.
Many of the cast members hadn’t seen each other in years, so there was much hugging and catching up.
These people were there: Log Lady Catherine Coulson, Ray Wise (Leland Palmer), Grace Zabriskie (Sarah Palmer) and Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), other cast attending included Miguel Ferrer (Albert), Peggy Lipton (Norma), Madchen Amick (Shelly Johnson), James Marshall (James Hurley), Victor Rivers (Buck), Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran) and Lenny von Dohlen (Harold Smith).
Because Peek-A-Boo loves Twin Peaks more than anything else, you probably will see some Lynchian things happening on our pages!
